Does anyone know when tax credits stop? it says you can claim tax credits for children up to 19 in full time education, my daughter finished college on Friday but doesn't start uni till September, so will I still get my tax credits until she's 19 or will they stop now? I've been informed that my child benefit ends September 3rd but I've not heard anything from tax credits

You should still get the credits as she is not taking a break from full time education - it's just the summer vacation.

Just been reading another forum and it seems you get them till the end of August if they are going to uni, you would think they would inform you

But if they dont inform you, they wont have to pay you, so they save money 
Or they over pay me and I'll be in trouble I'm finding lot's of different answers, some say it stops the day they finish college other's saying last week of August

Its best to go too your local DWP. There you will get the definitive answer

Personally, I would ring them Aimee. Better to get the answer right from the horses mouth, so to speak. At least that way you will know for sure.
