Show yer workings woman or I'll dock you a mark

I know..  I know....

Assuming they are talking metric tonnes then there are 2000g of metal per hectare which means the value is 2kg x ÂĢ25k  = ÂĢ50k

perfectly worked out Olly and far less complicated than the way I did it

I admit I had to google about metric tonne tho

but you worked it out, I hated anything to do with maths, chemistry and physics ...I always took the easy option, and concentrated on the stuff I really enjoyed and those subjects were way down the list

I enjoyed the first year of high school history. .we studied the ancient Egyptians/Greeks.. loved that..

next year it was mediaeval England. .hated that and the rest that came after. .

Geography was all about smelting and slag heaps.. .hated that too

Loved Friday mornings. . Double Maths followed by double Sport. . yay!   in common parlance I was a nerdy Jock. .or whatever the female equivalent is

I would have taken a turn for the worst every Friday and conned my grandmother I was ill

Just before double chemistry I would feign illness and go to matron...

The 'orrible chemistry teacher Mrs Ludlow then shamed me in front of the class by announcing I'd missed 40% of chemistry tests. TOTAL co-incidence
