i wanted to watch the programme last night about septimius severus, ' the untold invasion of britain'

i gave up watching it after 20 minutes because the sound levels for the dramatic music, that played during the breaks in the commentary and at points behind the commentary were feckin appallingly loud.

so i sat and fidgeted with the remote's sound buttons, getting more and more annoyed and then just gave up altogether.

jut been to the channel website to send my complaint to them and i get stuck in in that circly email error thing,which keeps asking me to amend my input and when i have it doesn't react, just keeps asking me to correct the same feckin field.

ive given up on that too now

That is a big problem with C4....the music is deafening and the ads blast out while the dialogue in shows is quite quiet....it drives the OH nuts...he's always telling me to turn the sound down....and then up...and then down

That's why I have to have control of the telly buttons.

Mr Blizz doesn't notice the volume ranges, until he has gone to bed and the BB ad break music wakes him up.

I'm always pressing the buttons up and then down.

I once or thrice nodded off during the live feed, and then the BB music would blast out.. nearly jumped through the roof.

not even in the bits where the wolf's head came on and all the dramatic, non commentary bits?

It all seemed appropriate to the programme to me and like I said, I am so sensitive, I have to turn over when Californian accents come on telly

Oh I was however perturbed by the pronounciation of Severus as Severe-us....that irritated me a lot

Do you have an even number thingummy, with the volume?

I only ask because my daughter screams at me, if I put it on an odd number.

I can't have my volume at an 'odd' number either. I usually have it at 22.

..I have my suround sound on 7..22 would mean I was deaf....
