I don't know the rules, there must be restrictions or they would not be found.
So the hunters get a picture, names and addresses of the fugitives. 
It's already getting quite cheesey.
I could easily outrun these bozos.

Exactly why I was saying the two girls need to do the opposite of what is expected of them. Go to a small town that is unlikely to have a large or any CCTV network.
Watched the first series and enjoyed, it. but have decided not to bother with this one - am watching the new series of "Red Dwarf" instead!
The first series of "Hunted" was actually quite good, but I think they got as far as they could go with it. According to the article I read in Radio Times, they're still playing up the "public education/information" line, but it looks much more like a straight game show this time round...
I wonder if they can go to the coast and use a boat?

Surprised she let them take laptop etc

Generally, the latest iOS release takes a while to crack. I think currently we can crack up to 8.1. I think iPhone 6/7 are not yet cracked.
There is a technique known as 'chip-off' but that pretty much destroys the device and I'm not sure that would break the encryption.

Why have these people used electronic communication when they knew they would be tracked by experts in the field !!!!!!
They can interrogate the 'cells' and triangulate them !!
