There was gooseberry sometimes and rhubarb....I looked forward to those, but when she had a lot of eggs she made a great custard tart, nice and heavy on the nutmeg lol

OOh - get you! Our language classes didn't clash - it was cookery or needlework in first year and you swapped disciplines in second year. Meanwhile the boys did metalwork or woodwork.
