For very sad reasons, Masterchef won't be shown tonight and likely to be some days before any more of it is shown

Yes, and probably for several days too .

The Masterchef episode scheduled for tonight won't be shown tonight.
No news as to when Masterchef will resume.

It may be that they get shown tomorrow as there will be no football programmes and the last Night of the Proms has been cancelled. Or it may be that BBC One will stay as it is at present until the day after the funeral. So next week's episodes could be taken off.
