That was the 1980s.....Miss KT has never forgiven her for the princess meringue they put her in...with a flower wreath on her head as well....she was only 5 lol

I was a slightly older teenager - and the petticoats were all nylon, not a hoop to be seen!

I hated wearing dresses after about aged seven.I always wore slacks unless forced to .Where I lived as a kid it was full of boys,so I played football,ran about with toy guns,climbed trees etc,what used to be called a Tom boy.😁

I was a tom boy ...but trousers / jeans were not an option in our house

My dress had shoulder pads.....and I had a curly perm ....looked a right blossom by today's standards 😂😂
