Day 12: The Amazing Speidi-plan?

On the surface we have a House united but tension is bubbling beneath.

Today's one hour cleaning window forced the housemates into action and even those who have been shy so far when it comes to domestic tasks got stuck in. All of those except Speidi that is.

The pair have been acting as if they are still in the basement – taking up their regular pew on the living room sofa and staring blankly at their fellow celebs.

They have even been giving us a running commentary; "These people's voices are so annoying," being one of Heidi's strongest lines.

Not to do the pair a disservice, Heidi did demonstrate that she knew her way around a broom while Spencer tidied up a packet of crisps. Mr Speidi did line up the dining room chairs – a chore no one else had rushed to do.

The remaining housemates are staying tight lipped about the twosome's level of interaction. Are they still paranoid that Speidi are watching them, ready to pounce?

Heidi briefly joined the housemates' snowball fight in the garden, prompting Spencer to drawl, "At last something good I can watch on the television."

Will Heidi draw him out of his voyeuristic role or will she settle back in with him?

Day 12: Lacey Phone Home

Lacey’s usual happy disposition was absent earlier when she came out of the Diary Room. As a reward from Big Brother for her victory in the Tell it like it is task, Lacey had been granted a quick phone call from her brother, which – albeit a lovely reward, led to the girl feeling a little bit homesick.

As ever, Rylan was on hand to give a hug as the emotional model talked about how much she was missing home.

“I didn’t realise how much I missed all my brothers. As long as I’ve done them proud and been myself,” she mused.

“That’s all you can do,” Rylan assured her.

After a little teary turn, Lacey cheered up and told Heidi and Spencer she was ready to party again after feeling a bit secluded, what with her being the youngest housemate. Speidi united in their wisdom to give her some sage advice, saying, “No matter how much experience you’ve had, all you need is more time. I think you’re one of the most genuine people in here.”

Lacey agreed that time was the most important thing, so it looks like it’s a day for growing as well as snowing. Metaphorically speaking.

Day 12: Speidi told to move out of the basement 13 mins ago

Three days on from their dramatic re-introduction to the house, Big Brother has decided to get tough with Heidi and Spencer. Following Friday night’s drama, Big Brother allowed the couple to sleep in the basement, so that everybody could take a little time out and let the situation calm down.

However, with no sign of Speidi voluntarily integrating with the rest of the house, Big Brother called the pair to the Diary Room to tell them enough was enough. They were instructed to move themselves and their possessions back to the main bedroom, as Big Brother wants the basement back. And unsurprisingly, they weren’t happy about it.

"I knew this would happen", sighed Spencer, before Heidi declared that "it was too good to be true". Nevertheless, they dutifully packed up their clothing and trundled to the bedroom, reclaiming the bed that they vacated last week. This is a far from ideal situation for Team America, but they seem to now be aware that Big Brother’s word is final, and that if they want to be on the show, they have to do as they’re told.

But how are the rest of the housemates reacting to this new state of affairs? Well, Rylan is snoozing in the igloo while Tricia and Claire are in the kitchen discussing shepherd’s pie recipes. We guess nothing fazes this lot any more...
