5.40pm: Martin and two gold-faced men eye-witnesses believe to be The Situation and Ashley are sitting silently on the outside sofas.

7.34pm: Coleen and Julian are faffing with their luggage in the bedroom. They're going to miss that shared bedroom, we bet.

7.44pm: Six suitcases are lined up in the hallway. It's a touching symbol of what we're about to lose.

7.55pm: The finalists are talking about panto again. Martin would rather be Captain Hook than Prince Charming, he says

8.05pm: The Situation is having what could be his final chat with Big Brother. Fittingly, he's wearing his cool-guy shades.
