Who Nominated Who..

The Celebrity Big Brother 2012 housemates nominated for the final time yesterday, but who voted for who when it came to the Diary Room?
Yesterday, housemates were made to nominate for the last time. Big Brother called the eight remaining celebrities, one by one to the diary room, where they were asked to nominate two housemates each. The Situation couldn’t nominate as he was banned after cheating last Wednesday in the face to face nominations, and was told to sit on the naughty step throughout the nominations.
Julian is first to nominate and his first choice was Prince Lorenzo, “I disliked the fact that he called Julie bitter and for his dullness.” His second nomination is for Martin as he asserts his authority over him and regularly affirms his superiority in the house.

Coleen was the second housemate to nominate. Julie was her first choice adding: “She’s been a bit fake from day one, talking behind people’s backs,” she quipped. Her second nomination was for Martin, “When I’m alone with him I don’t know what to talk about. I love the guy!”

Julie was next up and first nominated The Situation who she claimed has “been sad since Danica left which makes her feel sad.” She then nominated Prince Lorenzo, saying “I don’t have a great deal in common with the human calculator.”

The forth housemate to nominate was Prince Lorenzo who nominated Julie. “There’s two sides to her, she’s two faced.” His second nomination was for Harvey. “We have very different views on women.”

Harvey nominated Prince Lorenzo citing “I don’t agree with his morals and values.” His second nomination was for Julie, “She’s playing the game and trying to influence me.”

Next up was Ashley who named Julie as his first nomination. “She’s a game player and has a game plan,” he explained. His second nomination is for Martin, “He isolates himself from the group which makes me feel sad. He’s a great guy.”

The seventh and final housemate to nominate was Martin whose first choice was Julie who he claimed has been “dragging people into the toilets to influence their nominations which is unfair, she deserves to be nominated.” His second nomination was for Julian as last week he lit up an electronic cigarette in the bedroom which I asked him to put out. He thought this was “disrespectful.”

As a result of this week’s final nominations Julie (received 5 noms), Martin (received 3 noms) and Prince Lorenzo (received 3 noms) all face the public vote to save and the double eviction on Wednesday.

Afternoon Scotty and Mrs H I've had a lot to catch up on, last night's BB and BOTS which I'd recorded, and the vids and tweets, thank you One thing I noticed is how diplomatic Julian is with Julie when she talks about the booing and "the gang", which he agreed with her about them....so why didn't he nom them  Prince and Martin aren't part of the gang, puzzling lol.

Have our housemates lived up to their pre-show promises?

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, but this isn't true in Big Brother. You see, the housemates seem to forget that before they enter the House they have already talked to the public about their feelings and thoughts regarding their impending incarceration, by way of their profile VT and their pre-show interviews. So, though their celebrity housemates may take them at face value, especially at first, the viewers might sometimes find themselves doing the odd double-take.

So, we had a look back through the celebs' pre-show interviews and profile VTs, and how they measure up to their in-House performance, so you don't have to!

Julie
Announcing "I do get along with people" in her intro video, Julie has lived up to that; with the exception of her relationship with Coleen, which has only just settled on an even keel after almost three weeks of animosity. Though she was initially pretty well-liked by most of her housemates, recent events have led some to question her motives, and wonder if she might not be being a bit two-faced. She also claimed not to have a game plan, saying "I will be just Julie"but with "I'm just Julie" becoming somewhat of a mantra of hers, we can't help but think that maybe this was her game plan all along...

The Situation

It's no surprise to anyone that The Sitch is all about the ladies, which he admitted with glee in his profile video, saying "if there are any hot girls in the House...I will be hooking up with them most likely" and claiming that his ideal housemate would be, well, a hot girl. With his most memorable actions in the House reserved to trying to get close to Danica, we think it's safe to say that The Sitch gave a pretty good account of himself, even if he didn't seal the deal.

Julian
Known the world over for his sharp and smutty wit, Julian played up to it in his pre-show footage, as well as promising to bring a bit of class to the House. While he's not been as outrageous as people may have expected, he certainly has retained an air of dignity, whilst making the odd dirty joke for good measure, and has tried to instil a more refined atmosphere in the House by simply refusing to be drawn into drama.

Harvey
Fast talking Harvey wanted to make sure we knew he was "a fun guy" and with his pranks and capers he has certainly proved that point. He told us that his nightmare housemate would be someone who was two-faced or spiteful, and given his bromance with Ashley (who is anything but two-faced) he seems to be keeping to his word. The Harvster has also recently pulled away from Julie because of her suspected plotting, which further supports that he really meant that.

Lorenzo
One thing we can certainly say about Lorenzo is that he has been a nice, calm, friendly presence in the House, not even losing his temper when things came to a head with Danica and The Situation. Though he presented himself to us as a "nice, likeable person" he also promised that "when people aren't nice, I'm not nice back." We haven't seen this bite-back side of the Prince, but we suppose there's still time, eh?

Ashley
The Olympian admitted before he entered the House that he was outspoken, saying, "My opinions will come out and I'll end up saying something I'm not meant to" and it's safe to say that he has on occasion been a bit of a spitfire. He also told us that he would always apologise for speaking out of turn, which we've also seen. Turns out that though Ashley may sometimes seem confused by others, he knows himself.

Coleen
Coleen has no time for game plans, saying that anyone who goes in with one is stupid, and it does appear that she has been herself throughout. Perhaps her mistrust of Julie was a result of her aversion to game plans, eh?

Martin
Promising that "for the first week I'll be really good," Martin lived up to his words. But then he claimed that "if nothing happens, I'll wind it up." Errr, is this the same Martin Kemp we've been watching for three weeks? With all respect to Martin, he really hasn't been in the business of shaking things up at all; he has stayed away from all conflict like a conflict-avoiding-missile. Is this all a part of his master plan, or has he decided he just can't be bothered upsetting the equilibrium in the House? We may never know...

But don't just take our word for all this! You can watch the launch show yourself to see their profile videos and their pre-show interviews with Digital's Ian are linked above. How do you think they've measured up to their pre-show words...?

Day 20: The Growlers task

As housemates sat comfortably in the living area, the three selected to perform in the children’s show entertained them from the garden.

Mr Johnny Tickles (Lorenzo) enthusiastically narrated the story of The Growlers, Itchy (Martin) and Twitchy (Ashley).

The Growlers were confused from the start with Ashley asking Martin, "Are you my brother or are you my girl? What are you?" as they lay in bed in the garden together. This is kids TV Ash, suspend disbelief if you don’t mind.

The pair completed various tasks which included Itchy downing a chilli and garlic milkshake, and Twitchy brushing his teeth with fish gut tooth paste. The pair also played catch with a spiky ball and slapped each other around the face with a wet fish.

Watching housemates covered their eyes and mouths between explosions of cackling at the lads’ antics.

Big Brother will let them know if their efforts have been a BBTV ratings pleaser.
