7.30am: Housemates are all sleeping. The Prince is particularly asleep. He's probably dreaming about ladies.

7.47am: The general mood in the house is sleepiness, what with our celebrity HMs all still being fast asleep.

8.01am: They're still all asleep. Make the most of it, celebrity HMs. There's plenty of activity coming along with the brand new day.

Exclusive: nominations announced!

With Jasmine's seat still warm, the housemates nominated for the second time last night - and lucky them, they got to do it in the privacy of the Diary Room this time!

Still, it wasn't an easy decision for most - although we doubt that will be much of a consolation for the nominees... Step forward CherylColeenJulianPrince Lorenzo and The Situation, who will all face the public vote ahead of this week's eviction.

Nail-biting stuff, eh?

Day 9: Nomination reactions

Last night, the housemates were told that Coleen, Julian, Prince Lorenzo, The Situation and Cheryl will face the public vote this Friday.

It's fair to say that the housemates were shocked by the amount of people facing eviction than the announcement itself. As is usual when a large number of housemates are up, the others have been comforting the possible evictees by saying that this means they only had a few votes each.

But has this eased the blow - and how did they initially react to the news?

Cheryl was the most vocal, 'jokingly' shouting "thanks guys" after Big Brother announced the result, later huffing to bed with the declaration; "whatever. F**k it".

It has been noted by the other housemates that she hasn't taken it too well.

Prince Lorenzo, on the other hand, seems to have taken it in his stride, musing; "I knew I was going to be nominated sooner or later... I'm totally fine with it". He tried to convince Cheryl that it was 'just a game', but we think it may have fallen on deaf ears.

Julian, as you would expect, has been very together, telling Julie in the garden; "I saw it coming... I think the people who I nominated knew I would nominate them, so I think they nominated me". He brushed off any attempts to cheer him up, stating that he was 'fine'.

Coleen was very quiet after the announcement, choosing to talk to Big Brother in the Diary Room instead of confiding in her other housemates. Just like Cheryl, she too seems to have taken the reveal personally, but is trying to brush it off, saying; "oh well, the public will decide. That's what they're there for".

And finally, The Situation. Well, we couldn't read his reaction at all. It was initially one of surprise, later mixed with a nonchalant, I'm-not-that-bothered attitude, but what is he really thinking?

We're sure that they'll have lots to say on the subject once they've mulled it over, so expect lots of eviction chat today.

Day 9: It's a sad, sad Situation Oh, Danica! Oh, The Situation!

The bizarre will they/won't they/what in heaven's name are they talking about non-romance the pair are wrangling themselves through came to a head this morning in the living area. The Situation, it turned out, wasn't too happy that his intense friendship with Danica didn't translate into a little more sympathy for his current nominated status after it was revealed last night that he's up for eviction.
Things got a little strange when he chatted with her on the couch, with the two giving one another those intense looks that spell either miscommunication or deep longing. One of the two – and neither of them seem sure which.
The Sitch essentially told her that a 'number of people' were shocked that she wasn't 'there for him' after the nominations announcement was made. Danica listened, looking slightly shocked, holding his hand and reminding him that she's got a relationship on the outside and that she doesn't want to appear to be getting too close to him.
The Situation continued with the dreamy look in his eye, telling her that the little things he does for his friends – making them drinks, asking if they're okay – are things he'd expect back from her. And then, point made, he wandered off. "Are you going now?" she asked, as he'd not officially ended the conversation.
Danica went to ask Cheryl her opinion of The Situation's quite odd dressing down. Cheryl told her she probably shouldn't be holding his hand as he has a crush on her, but she balanced that with the suggestion that this particular Situation's getting a little too intense. "You've only known each other a week!" she cried.
Danica wandered off to play some games in the sun with Ashley and Rhian. Old Sitcho went to chat with Martin and The Prince. "I wish I could make my nominations all over again," he lamented. Martin and Lorenzo wisely talked him around from going into that particular topic, for that way only madness and punishment reside.
It's sad. So sad. It's a sad, sad Situation

Day 9: The young, the old and the floaters

For a House of fairly amicable housemates, nominations have so far caused some serious fireworks and as our celebs sat down to breakfast on Day 9, the touch paper was lit once more.

Ashley told Coleen that Cheryl had accused him and Harvey of having a game plan and in an effort to dispel the myth said: "Me and Harvey have been the most genuine ones. You, Martin, Julie are the grown up ones. At some point I'm going to have to chose my mates but it's not a game plan. I've got my next two already."

The judo champ may just have hit nail on the head as, with Jasmine's departure and the latest batch of noms, a very clear divide has emerged between the generations.

Our Nolan Sister seconded that one. "The quiet ones are all together with Julian, Sam and Julie, there's you youngsters and me and Cheryl float about," she said. "I come and see you but no one has got my back."

Julian and The Situation empathised with each other over the feeling that being up for eviction is a good way of changing your perception about things in the House. Julian claimed: "The world looks like a different place when you are a marked man. You feel bit disillusioned."

The Sitch added: "You start to doubt genuinality – if that's even a word." It's not.

Our one time loose woman has promised we are going to see a new side to her from now on. "No more Mr Nice guy," she said. "Everyone's been so nice out here that I've kept things to myself in case they thought I was a right b***h, but I won't now." We can't wait.

The Sitch has a feeling he is not going this week. Coleen has feeling she is. Five housemates are up for nomination ,who goes? you decide.
