For this week's shopping task, the housemates were set the challenge to spend big to win a luxury budget. We revealed yesterday that the celebrities managed to rack up a hefty ÂĢ485 in the first day alone, but how did they get on today? Let's have a look...
The housemates got their first chance to splash the cash today, by indulging in some 'delicious' shots, courtesy of the Big Brother cocktail bar. With shots such as the 'Sam-puker' and 'Risky Sours' on the menu, you can probably imagine just how good the were.
However, Danica, Rhian, Harvey, Ashley, Coleen and Samantha stepped up to the challenge, drinking ÂĢ120 of shots, which was added to their total.
This afternoon, Julie, Julian, Samantha and Coleen were given the last opportunity to add some moolah to the shopping budget, by dishing out some home truths. The insults rained down as the cheques stacked up – with every 'diss' equalling ÂĢ10. They slandered each other 12 times, winning a total of ÂĢ120.
Therefore, we can exclusively reveal that the housemates won a grand total of ÂĢ725 for this week's shopping budget.
However, there is a twist... And it's so top secret that we can't even give you a clue. All will be revealed in due course!

Day 7: Coleen and The Situation are lost in translation

We have a situation. Our man Sitch is not a happy bunny - his beef? He thinks Coleen is making fun of him and it's not on, it's really not. And not being shy of confrontation, he decided to bring it up with the woman herself...

Let's give you the background to this one. Last night, The Situation blundered his way around the kitchen, firstly making stock in the kettle and then managing to burn the bottom of a saucepan. It just so happens that loose woman, Coleen, discovered the charcoaled cookware and she may have made a quip about it... which is where the conversation brims from.

Sitting in the garden earlier tonight, the reality star confronted the TV presenter, saying he didn't appreciate her making fun of him behind his back – when he was literally standing behind her back, overhearing it all. Especially after he had cooked the House a lovely meal, he argued.

Coleen tried to explain that she was just 'taking the micky' out of him, like she would to her own son – but he didn't seem too convinced. And the following comment confused him even more;

"I wasn't angry. I just wanted to hit you over the head with it."

Which he took in the literal sense – cue sad puppy face as he took in what she had said.

"Oh I don't mean that literally. I forget that the British and American humour is different." Coleen grappled, trying to make light of the situation.

The pair went back and forth as they tried to explain their points of view, and in the end it seems that it may have just been a lost in translation moment. However, we're not sure The Situation fully accepts that she didn't mean any harm by the comment. But for now, he's let it lie and has focused his attention on frying some bacon. A bacon sarnie has saved the day.

Celebrity Big Brother spoilers: Housemates pass shopping task!

Rhian Sugden [Celebrity Big Brother 2012)

The Celebrity Big Brother 2012 housemates have passed their first shopping task, winning a whopping ÂĢ725 to spendâ€Ķ but there was a twist.

Over the past two days the group have been spending as much money as they can in a bid to earn up to ÂĢ1,000 to spend on their shopping.

They’ve ‘enjoyed’ getting pied in the face and downing Big Brother’s disgusting fishy cocktails in a bid to win a luxury shopping budget.

Big Brother revealed this evening that the group had managed to spend ÂĢ725, and gave them that amount to spend on this week’s shopping.

But there was a twist: This week, two housemates would be sent out of the house to do the shopping.

Big Brother revealed that potential evictees Jasmine and Rhian would be leaving the house tonight for a late night trolley dash with their ÂĢ725 budget to spend.

The pair went in to the bedroom to laugh about being chosen, with both protesting they knew nothing about the kitchen or shopping!

Day 7 round-up

We had a few grouchy housemates on Day 7, after the younger ones in the group decided to natter into the early hours. Even cool-headed Martin had something to say on the matter, branding the collective 'a little bit immature' â€“ and the Kemp doesn't get riled by much.

One of the perpetrators, The Situation, may have clawed back some brownie points later in the morning by cooking a full English breakfast for the housemates. His attempt to fit into the British way continued later in the day, as he had a stab at a cockney accent. We rate his attempt – at least he's 'avin a go like.

However, the other American in our midst, Prince Lorenzo, is worried that he's coming across as a bit of a squid - and he doesn't mean the eight-legged kind. The Bachelor seems to have a few things on his mind at the moment, one of them being model Danica, who he just can't seem to make his mind up about. But if it's love he's looking for, he certainly won't find any in model Jasmine after she announced that he wouldn't be able to handle her â€“ we may have to agree with her on that one.

The Big Spenders task continued throughout the day, with a selection of housemates bombing vile tasting shots in the Shots Till You Drop challenge and the elders dishing out some home truths in the Loose Change task. Luckily for the housemates, their efforts weren't in vain, as they learnt that they had won a whopping ÂĢ725 for this week's shopping budget. However, there is a twist to this week's shopping task that we really want to tell you about right now, but our lips are firmly sealed. But do not fear, all will be revealed very soon.

In the evening, The Situation confronted Coleen over a comment she had made the night before. The reality TV star had got it into his head that she had been making fun of him – and he wasn't best pleased. After much to-ing and fro-ing, it turned out that it was just a lost in translation situation. However, the incident seems to have put doubt in the loose woman's mind, as she later confided that she's now really conscious of what she says and how she's being perceived by the other housemates.

Well, it was only a matter of time before the paranoia sets in. We're sure that's not the last we'll see of that.

But today is a new day – and a big day at that. Either Rhian or Jasmine will be walking through those doors and into the arms of the British public. Who will it be? You decide...
