Just as the housemates were about to turn in for the night like the happy campers they were – all hell broke loose. Well, that may be a tad dramatic, but there was definitely unrest in the House as yet another row erupted between the glamour girls, Rhian and Jasmine.
In an effort to patch up their differences, Jasmine jumped into bed with Rhian to air their issues – but it didn't exactly go too well. As the girls discussed why they haven't been getting on over the last few days, Rhian confessed that she sometimes feels uncomfortable around the feisty model – which Jasmine didn't take too kindly to.
The disagreement quickly resulted in Jasmine stropping off to the garden, with Rhian left sitting upset in the bedroom, being comforted by close friend Danica.
And in her upset state, Jasmine then took umbrage with Harvey, who she accused of sniping at her on two separate occasions. However, the cool-headed rapper didn't rise to the accusation, telling Jasmine that she would probably rethink her statement when she was in a better mood.
The other housemates have a lot to say on the drama that has just unfolded, but it has fallen to Samanatha to calm down Jasmine, whilst Coleen has been giving Rhian advice on how to deal with the incident.
Can the voices of reason defuse the situation? We have full confidence in the self-appointed mother figures - if anyone can bring peace and harmony to the House, Sam and Col can.

Big Brother rolled out the red carpet on Day 1 and welcomed 13 celebrities into the Big Brother House.

Ashley McKenzie, Cheryl Fergison, Coleen Nolan, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Danica Thrall, MC Harvey, Julian Clary, Julie Goodyear, Jasmine Lennard, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Martin Kemp, Rhian Sugden and Samantha Brickhit the ground running as they became the Celebrity big Brother 2012 housemates.

Despite welcoming musicians, models and soap stars amongst our new arrivals, Big Brother was not going to hand out any special treatment. First through the door, Julie 'Bet Lynch' Goodyear and Cheryl 'Heather Trott' Fergison, were given a secret task that drew on their talents – creating a soap style scenario in which Julie had had an affair with Cheryl's ex. There were tears and recriminations and Julie threw a drink over Cheryl – TV gold.

The pair triumphed earning a drinks party – cheers!

Day 2 kicked off with a few fascinating morning tales. We heard all about the housemates dreams – their nocturnal ones, rather than their aspirations.

Cheryl hit the hot tub and showed herself to be quite impressionist, mocking Big Brother before housemates were ejected from the garden, forcing them to make their own entertainment.

The Moment Of Truth task saw Julian and The Situation guessing the housemates character traits. They actually failed the task, but no one minded. They were more concerned by Coleen's sex tape and Danica's career.

Lorenzo and The Situation had their own separate love-fails, Jasmine had plenty to say about pretty much everything, including Danica's job which she and Rhian had a little bitch over.

Prince Lorenzo found himself swamped by women on Day 3,with The Prince Charming task. The ladies had to get their flirt on to convince him to pick them as his Princess. Despite Jasmine's sexy massage efforts, Samantha become the Prince's princess.

Earlier the boys (The Situation and Ashley) had confessed their crushes to Harvey. The latter likes Rhian, while the formers has a thing for Danica.

Face to face nominations caused quite a stir with somesurprising choices and an outburst from Jasmine, who was not impressed about being up for eviction. Rhian, who also faces the public vote this week, took the news with more dignity.

Following on from the previous night's drama, it was clear that the dust was yet to settle on Day 4, as Danica took the brunt of Jasmine's frustrations. The mood was slightly alleviated by the introduction of the 'Talent Agents' task – which saw Ashley being crowned the winner, but there was apologies to be dished out later that day.

And there were plenty of them, as Jasmine made a grovelling apology to Danica after some reflection and later made peace with Prince Lorenzo following on from their argument on Day 3. Basically, there was a lot of making up to be done. And whilst this was going on, the other celebrities did what they do best – they partied on down, VIP style.

Awkward became the buzz word for Day 5, as The Situation was given a secret task to act out a series of uncomfortable situations to win a prize later that evening. Highlights included The Situation not so subtly telling Martin that he had BO and showing Julian how his lip liner should be done.

Later in the day, Rhian had a blub over the fact that she now feels awkward around Jasmine and Cheryl rather awkwardly asked Prince Lorenzo if he was a 'plant' in the House. If the day was a person, it would be a gawky teenage boy.

The week drew to a close with the biggest blow-up so far. After climbing into bed with Rhian, the glamour girls ended up in an argument which Jasmine managed to involve Harvey in, and Coleen and Samatha attempted to smooth over. Ashley had a shot at orchestrating some closure once and for all but failed. It's safe to say, the heat was not the only thing keeping people up at night.

It took the older housemates to calm the situation, but we fear this may roll on into Week 2.

The housemates were woken to the booming tones of Shirley Bassey singing 'Big Spender'. Julie leapt out of bed and instinctively performed a dance sequence to the absolute delight of the housemates. The musical alarm call is not the only unusual feature of a just dawned day for, as the housemates slept, Big Brother’s little elves deposited a giant piggy bank and other curious items about the House and garden.

What's this all about then?

It's shopping task time. This one, Big Spenders, breaks down like so....

Housemates will be given a £1,000 shopping budget if they are able to spend the same sum. Each housemate will be given a personal cheque book which they can use to buy items. Their cheques are deposited in a giant piggy bank. The total amount spent by housemates during the task will equate to the amount they have to spend on their shopping, with the upper limit being £1,000.

Breakfast
Housemates will begin the task by buying their breakfast.

Big Brother's Clothing Emporium
Big Brother will call one housemate to the Diary Room and offer them the chance to buy a colourful zentai suit. Once they have purchased it, they'll be offered another, and another and another. The housemate must wear all suits purchased.

Big Brother's Fun Fare
All housemates will be offered a chance to spend their pocket money in Big Brother's Fun Fare. All the items at the fair have a price attached to them. They can pay to use a child's coin-operated ride, a coin pusher machine, and a spinning waltzer ride. There is also a stall to pay to 'pie' a celebrity.

Trash for Cash
One  housemate will be offered a brief stay at Big Brother's Boutique Hotel. They are told that they will have to pay for any damage caused to their suite. The housemate will have 3 minutes to trash the room as vigorously as possible.

Pedalo
Two housemates will be offered the chance to pay to spend an hour in a swan pedalo.

On Your Head
This task will test the celebrities' knowledge of the price of everyday items. In the Diary Room, Big Brother will ask them how much various items cost. If they guess correctly, they will spend the money. However, if they guess incorrectly the item will be dropped on their head instead.

Shot Till You Drop
Up to six housemates are invited into an exclusive VIP area. Once there, they are offered the opportunity to buy rounds of shots, including Risky Sours, Bloody Scary and Sam-puker. However if they buy a round but fail to all finish a round of drinks, they will be reimbursed.

And that's your lot! Today is now set to be a very silly, very expensive day. We shall keep you posted as the task plays out. For once, it is all about the money, money, money...

It's a busy morning in the Celebrity Big Brother House, with our current crop of starry housemates currently fully immersed in the Big Spenders task.

Even though this latest activity's a full time pursuit, with our celebs forced to write cheques for pretty much everything they choose to do, they've still found time to chew over the topic du jour. Unsurprisingly given her slightly confusing behaviour since Day 2, that topic has been Jasmine, the model whose behaviour's kicked up something of a stink.

First to chat about the House's current firebrand were Rhian and Samantha. Miss Sugden felt the sharp edge of Jasmine's tongue on the evening of Day 5, and she went over it all again with Samantha, worrying about how Jasmine's manipulating her time in the Diary Room to make herself look a victim. Samantha told her not to worry, explaining that the sum of Jasmine's antics will tell their own story.

Meanwhile, Coleen and Danica spent some time in the Smoking Area digesting Jasmine's breakfast routine. They were most irked by her tendency to munch her meal then leave her plate at the kitchen table. "Even with everything else, I wish she'd at least take her tray to the sink" muttered an unimpressed Loose Woman.

And then there was Harvey, who chatted with Samantha in the bathroom as he brushed his teeth. He was more upset than most with Jasmine, having already registered that she might be a handful on the first night. He told her, that opening evening, that if she felt she was getting upset, to find him so he could help her work it out. It was an invitation that she's since declined – and Harvey's rattled.

Everybody's rattled, actually. Even as this article hits your eyes, Coleen's chatting with Rhian about the irrepressible Jasmine Lennard. We have a feeling she'll be talked about constantly until she eventually leaves the House – and probably beyond.
