Day 4: Task- Talent Agent Auditions

Today's task was a real showcase of all the fabulous talents of our fabulous celebrities, with Julie and Julian (affectionately referred to as 'The Jules' by, er, us...) acting as talent agents for two teams made up from the rest of the housemates.

Team Julie: Coleen, Harvey, Danica, The Situation and Samantha.

Team Julian: Rhian, Ashley, Jasmine, Martin, Cheryl and Prince Lorenzo

The housemates impressed and underwhelmed in equal measure, with talents ranging from singing to acting to doing the crab.

Ashley treated 'The Jules' to a performance that said "judo has changed my life" through fast talk and judo moves. It was quite a sight to behold, and after he left the audition room, Julie said she had found it very moving to hear his story.

Cheryl performed a very avant-garde one woman play about the experience of a Big Brother contestant. It was certainly interesting, but seemed to throw The Jules, though Julian said it might be appropriate for the Edinburgh Festival.

Though she only ever sang the "ooh, ooh, oooh" bit on I'm in the Mood for Dancing, Coleen belted out a pretty powerful performance of the Nolans' biggest hit. She seemed a little nervous, but impressed The Jules.

Announcing "I have no talent," Danica took a wander round the room in her underwear, but then impressed The Jules by doing an impromptu crab. She would love to be a presenter one day, and Julie thinks she'd be great at it.

Harvey surprised absolutely nobody, by performing the So Solid Crew's biggest hit '21 Seconds'. He trumpeted his versatility, saying he can do anything, from music to film to ads for verruca ointment. The Jules were very impressed, and Julie hinted that he'd be the act she picked for the next round.

Jasmine's an actress and model, but for her talent, she chose to do an aerobic re-enactment of a certain popular erotic novel. It was very interesting, and left The Jules a little lost for words.

The Jules were clearly expecting Martin to sing Gold, and he did, in a way. Mustering every scrap of his acting chops, Martin delivered a dramatic performance of Gold. It was amazing. The Jules were moved: Julian choked up, and Julie actually cried.

Poor Prince Lorenzo, who wasn't even picked for a team, presented his talent via a long and rambling monologue about dog shampoo. When he finally revealed his talent, it turned out to be that he is really good at maths. Namely, working out 20% of any given figure. The Jules weren't impressed at all.

Though Rhian didn't have a hard act to follow, her performance also confused The Jules somewhat, as she presented 'Facts in Briefs', which consisted of her telling them facts whilst wearing underwear.

Samantha's performance was also a little confusing. She pulled some yoga moves and presented a plan, of sorts, for a business that focuses on producing tv shows for the over-35 ladies. The Jules admitted that it was interesting, but not necessarily a talent.

Last up was The Situation. His talent was, basically, being The Situation. The rippling abs that made him famous made quite an impact on The Jules, with Julie loving them and Julian remaining unimpressed. We know that 'being yourself' is commendable, but is it a talent, even with massive abs?

After some deliberation, The Jules decided on the winners of their teams, and the results will be revealed later in the Judges' House stage...
