Celeb BB final to air on Friday 13th September

Channel 5 has confirmed that the live final of Celebrity Big Brother summer 2013 will air in two parts on Friday 13th September.

The first show will air between 8.30pm and 10.00pm, with highlights of the housemates’ last day in the house, before presenter Emma Willis reveals where the first few finalists have placed.

Its pre-watershed start time means the first half hour of the final will clash with juggernaut ITV soap Coronation Street.

Part two of the final follows at 11.00pm, featuring the announcement of the winner.

The shows are separated by the debut of Celebrity Super Spa, Channel 5′s latest reality format – starring the likes of Helen Flanagan, James ‘Arg’ Argent and Rustie Lee – at 10.00pm.

Spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side rounds off the night with its series finale at 11.30pm, hosted by Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu.

Meanwhile, the last eviction show airs on Wednesday 11th, between 9.00pm and 10.00pm.

Celebrity Big Brother will return for its thirteenth series in January.

How did it come around so fast?! The first eviction is upon us and three housemates are facing a possible exit from the House tonight.

The ladies have been preening for hours and the men have, err...thrown on clean shirts.

Vicky is pretty up-beat, Ron is totally zen and Danielle is a bag of nerves.

Take a look at the prep session in the bedroom.

Charlotte gives Danielle a blow-dry

Ron strikes a pose

Vicky gets a leg up from Charlotte

Danielle has been evicted from the Big Brother House!

Danielle has been evicted from the Big Brother House!

So much for the luck of the Irish, Dublin darling Danielle Marr has been booted out of the Celebrity Big Brother House.

From the moment Danielle stepped into the House, she's been glamming the place up no end. Though there was a moment when it looked like she might have to get used to life with a hairbrush stuck in her fringe, she's given great hair every single day.

Despite her spiritual mojo, Danielle couldn't avoid being put up for eviction by the Cult of Celebrity.

Maybe it was Louie's involvement in the Cult that made Danielle turn against him so strongly, or maybe they would never have gotten along. Now she's out of the House, we'll never see whether they'll kiss and make up. What a shame.

Farewell, Dr Danielle! We'll come see you if we ever fancy a bit of Botox!

Day 7 round-up: Danielle says goodbye and a nominations twist

Day 7 marked the most important moment in the Celebrity Big Brother House so far. After a week long wait, it was finally time for the first eviction to take place. But despite this solemn setting, the housemates started the day off in a giggly mood.

In the first funny, Bruce briefly forgot the entire concept of the show. “They don’t film us all night? You’re joking?!” Welcome to Big Brother, Bruce! It’s good to have you with us. Even if it did take you a whole week to work that one out.

Next up it was Carol and Louie’s turn to bring in the laughs, with yet more fart chat. It’s safe to say Charlotte will never eat another chickpea before bed again.

Soon it was time for a brand new task with an old fashioned twist. Housemates were asked to present their most prized possessions to be valued by antiques expert, Lauren. The winner was Dustin, whose wedding ring Lauren decided was the most valuable item in the House. For some reason she only valued Charlotte’s stinky socks at a pound.

But enough of all that. Day 7 was all about one thing: the first eviction! And the unlucky housemate to finish in 13th place was our Dublin diva Danielle. We’ll certainly miss her, but we doubt Louie will.

Ron and Vicky lived to survive another day, but there was still another surprise in store for them. Summoned straight to the Diary Room, they were asked to choose the next nominee as the housemates watched on in the living room. And after much deliberation, Louie became the first to face the chop this Friday.

To decide who would join him, the rest of the gang spent the remainder of the evening making their first nominations of the series.

With a big announcement to come, Day 8 could prove very interesting indeed.

Day 8: This week's nominations revealed!

Attention - put your breakfast down; the nominations are in!

Last night, just after being saved from eviction, Ron and Vicky tussled in the Diary Room over whether to nominate Lauren or Louie for Friday's eviction. Vicky won out and our resident dancemaster was placed in the frame.

Then it was the other housemates' turn to vote, which they bleedin' well took their time over, only finishing at the frankly ridiculous time of 2am. Blimey.

The result of this marathon nom-fest? Joining Louie on the chopping block are Ron,CharlotteCourtney and Lauren. What a spread.

Who will go tomorrow evening? As ever, you decide. We'll let you know when the votelines open.

I`m not sure if Mario knows about it but they were running out of bread and Ron asked Vicky to hide some for his and Bruce`s brekkie in the morning. Don`t think she heard him, she was drunkety, so Bruce hid it.  Quite selfish of them, really.

Day 8: Naughty housemates get their comeuppance

Last night, the housemates nominated for the first time, putting five faces in the frame for eviction. Of course, like the chatterboxes they are, they couldn't help but natter about their nominations, which as we all know by now is supremely against the rules. Naughty housemates!

This morning, Big Brother let the housemates sleep a little bit later, but then woke them up with a stern telling-off and a punishment: all the luxury food from the shopping budget has been removed and the housemates have lost their hot water and hair straightener privileges. Oh dear!

As Big Brother read the roll-call of offenders' names, Louie delighted in giving them a secondary reprimand, while naughty chinwaggers Bruce, Courtney, Vicky, Dustin and Ron looked variously shamefaced, outraged and dejected. Dustin, in particular, was very annoyed, insisting that he hadn't talked about nominations, except maybe "as a joke!" Sure, Dustin...

Louie certainly wasn't fussed, though, announcing "there's nothing wrong with a bit of cold water!" and going about his usual morning business. It'll take more than a cupboard full of chick peas and a cold shower to keep him down!
