The crowd noise is playing, the housemates are jittery, the air is thick with hairspray and nerves. That can mean only one thing...it's eviction night!

As Abz, Bruce, Courtney, Dustin, Lauren, Louie and Vicky face tonight's (double) eviction, the whole House has been a hive of activity this evening. Now, they're all just about dressed and ready for Emma's announcement, so let's check out their glad rags...

A real diamond geezer, Dustin 'Screech' Diamond has been evicted after 16 days of hanging out with a gaggle of British celebs, where he valiantly dealt with all manner of British accents, and learned to say "buzzin'!" in perfect Geordie.

Dustin had the housemates guessing from the beginning, and was often to be found having involved chats with his House buddies Bruce and Abz. He got into the spirit of things,dancing and joking around with the best of them.

His natural charisma meant that Big Brother singled him out as a natural salesman, though unfortunately the product he had to 'sell' was a bit sub-par. Shame.

Though he often displayed a cheery disposition, Dustin could get a little bit grumpy, and that ended up being his undoing; his housemates cited his grumpiness as a reason for nominating him in the face-to-face nominations. Even his pal Bruce launched a nom bomb at him.

Still, Dustin took it on the chin, even going as far as saying he wanted to leave. Was it just good acting? We're a bit suspicious after seeing his performance in The Only Way Is Geordie when he played Mario with aplomb.

Whether he's been saved by the eviction bell or not (sorry), Dustin will be sorely missed by us.

Bruce has been banished from the Big Brother House! It's like Janice kicking Les out the door all over again.

As the cliché goes, Bruce's 16 day stay in the House has been full of ups and downs. He took to the first week with an open mind – more than happy to sleep out in the cold with Vicky, and even to have his toes tanned by Danielle. In fact, he became so relaxed with his new surroundings that he forgot Big Brother was filming him 24 hours a day. Woops!

Things soon took a turn for a worse for old Brucey, however, due to the departure of two things very close to his heart: his good friend Ron and all that delicious food. That's what you get for talking about nominations!

With his beloved breakfasts gone, Bruce took on the role of CBB's resident Mr Grumpy, coming to blows with Charlotte ,receiving some stern words from Vicky and even turning on his pal Dustin during face to face nominations, though the American did say he didn't mind.

Ultimately, though, Bruce has been a hugely entertaining housemate and we're sad to see him go. We mean, who else could get this obsessed over breadcrumbs and slap themselves around the face with a dead fish while telling his life story? Cheerio, Bruce – les keep in touch.

Day 16 kicked off with Courtney being roundly reprimandedand shamed for her naughty tipsy behaviour from the night before. Soon, though, things lightened up, with a little ditty about Abz's hat. Lovely.

Perhaps to take their minds off the fact that a whopping seven of them were in the frame for eviction, Big Brother gave the housemates a very fun task indeed. Courtney and Dustin were coached in Geordie and Essex accents by Charlotte and Mario for the brand new reality soap The Only Way Is Geordie Shore. They were given a very dramatic scene to act out. We might be biased, but we think they made a bloody good job of it.

And then, with a wave of many a hairbrush and an outfit-change, it was eviction time. Emma announced that everyone's favourite 90s TV star Dustin 'Screech' Diamondwould be the fourth evictee. He was closely followed by Bruce 'Les Battersby' Jones, our fifth evictee. Both blokes made alasting impression on their housemates and will be sorely missed.

Once the dust had settled, conversation in the House turned to a more, ahem, effluent subject. Well, it takes all sorts to make a celebrity House...

Tonight on Big Brother's Bit on the Side the lovely AJ will be joined by the charming Iain Lee for the final Bit on the Psych of the summer!

Brand new evictees Dustin Diamond and Bruce Jones will be on the show giving us the lowdown on life in the Celebrity Big Brother House.

And our regular trio of super psychs Dr Pam Spurr, Diane Youdale and Dr Funke will be powering up the panel and analysing the remaining housemates.

Housemates will be going radio gaga this afternoon as Big Brother FM takes over the airwaves with a very familiar presenter.

Broadcasting live from the BBFM studio, Vanessa Feltz will be hosting a special talk show.

The topic up for debate is, 'The housemates are being paid to live in the House and entertain us. Are they entertaining or are they complaining?'

She'll be giving the gang a proper grilling and delving into all the latest news and issues from the Celebrity Big Brother House as the other housemates listen from the living room.
