Day 13: Mr Big's big twist

In the thrilling denouement of The Prisoners task, Big Brother gathered the non-prisoner housemates on the sofas anddropped a bombshell on them. An eviction-shaped bombshell.
The mysterious Mr Big appeared onscreen to tell housemates that they had in fact been carrying out the tasks in order to save the imprisoned housemates, Mario, Lauren and Carol, from eviction. Because they had not carried out these duties to the best of their abilities, they would have to pick one housemate to give the old heave-ho for an instant eviction.
Because Lauren is already facing the public vote, they had to choose between Mario and Carol.
As you can imagine, this choice was fairly simple for some (such as Sophie and Dustin, who plumped for Carol without much hesitation) but was quite upsetting for Charlotte, who has formed a real friendship with both Carol and Mario.
"I can't be in this game show without either of them!" she blubbed. Bless her. In the end, her decision kind of surprised us.
Once Lauren and Mario wandered back into the House, Courtney made a beeline for her BFF Lauren, to try and explain that the 'selfishness' the prisoners observed earlier was actually a ploy. And it seemed all was forgiven...
Of course, nothing in Big Brother is ever as simple as it seems. Of course Carol hasn't really been evicted.
Instead, she'll remain hidden in the small task room for a further day, watching all the action inside the House.

Day 13 round-up: Mr Big drops a bombshell and Carol is sent packing
The housemates werenât in for much luck on their 13th day in the CBB House.
Over in the secret room, the so-called prisoners â Mario, Lauren and Carol â were boiling up with anger as they watched Courtney refuse to wear her dusty overalls, despite being told to by the man above. Seeing the selfish side to Courtney was a tough pill to swallow for Lauren, and it's made her wonder whether they really should be Best Friends Forever.
Just like yesterday, Mr Big came back to torment our weary celebs, who still believed they were doing his captives a favour. 5ive became 1ne as Abz was made to perform an old hit multiple times, while Bruce and Vicky revived those old romantics Les and Janice for a trip down Big Brother Street.
But Mr Big had something, well, much bigger up his sleeve for the housemates, and afteran hour of crowd noise sent their nervous systems into overdrive, it was time for a bombshell to be dropped.
The prisoners were revealed as frauds and their brutal remarks were played back to the House, ensuring any remaining harmony was blown to smithereens. As pay back, the housemates were forced to evict either Mario or Carol â with the already nominated Lauren exempt from an early exit.
Carol received the most votes and was swiftly banished from the Celebrity Big Brother House. Or at least that's what the housemates think. Truth is she's back in the secret room living a lonely life of luxury.
Oh Big Brother, you devious devil, you.

It's eviction night and the latest celebrity to get the boot from the Big Brother House will be joining AJ and Rylan on the show. Will it be Bruce, Courtney, Lauren, Louie or Sophie? Only you can decide that.
Mario's mate Bobby Cole-Norris from TOWIE returns to the panel this evening along with ex-housemate turned telly presenter Alison Hammond.

12.23pm: Bruce and Dustin think Lauren is selfish because she drinks too much milk.
12.35pm: Lauren is teaching Courtney to speak Northern. "Put kettle on, I'm having a tato sandwich," is her suggestion.
