Yes,I'm in Glasgow and we still have ours.I use it all the time.We have a back garden so line dry clothes,in bad weather we use the "Pulley" as it's called up here.Better than those silly wee plastic coated metal stand up thingies.
I have a tumble dryer, but I  rarely use it,it frickin' burns up the leccy.
Our houses are due to be all re- structured and modernised next year,so I'll probably lose it.Some blocks in the street have been started on.Punters get de-canted for four months,it's a major job.
We had the big bleedin' drill machines in the garden just after the new year, searching for old coal mines.Smaller versions of those big machines being used in Chile.

I cant believe you didnt know that yogi x

My mum wouldn't use ours it just sat up there with grease and dust gathering on it. We had a back yard where you could hang your washing out but we were so high up my mum had this 'contraption' that was a line with a clothes poll that stuck out the back window (i bet a few of you know what i mean ) . It was okay till the cat tried to catch a bird that landed on it and fell amazingly the cat survived unscathed.

Its called a rack where i come from and can remember my old aunts/grandparents having them. Watching them hauling up a rack full of clothes then tying it off and venturing underneath it made me cringe. but- as heat rises, then it must be a great way to dry clothes on the cheap in this day and age. Got me thinking to install one myself.
