Read it over on DS. I don't think it was anything specific: I think it was just that the penny finally dropped with "the powers that be" that she was hated outside the C5/BB "bubble", and viewers were turning off in droves every time she appeared.

Actually, I think there was a change in management, and the new powers-that-be weren't quite as enamoured with her as the old crowd, and were more in touch with the GBP WRT Helen.

Either that, or - if you believe the conspiracy theorists - the celebrity prostitute didn't have anything on the new crowd...
