the thing for me is that Aspergers is normally a male infliction although it is found more in girls these days. There are high functioning Aspergers people, but none of them function as highly as Paula which is why I doubt that diagnosis. She probably fits some of the pointers, but not enough for that definitive diagnosis imo
That's not to say her brain hasn't been frazzled with her drink and drugs which is more likely
Sling a book listing every ailment/condition in front of anyone and I swear they'd admit to at least 10% of them.
