It must be exciting and at the same time nerve wracking. It'd be awful to see someone you liked/loved being portrayed badly and ending up a hate figure - especially if you know that they're nothing like that.

Lovely to see you (and Dora) again

That`s it Soozy. Of course BB asked them to say that type of stuff so Frankie and Rylan could choose who had the biggest ego. He`s not like that at all. Hope he copes, he`s quite shy really. We`ll see. My son in NZ just posted on FB "What`s that stupid sausage doing on there?!

Thanks Soozy, and you

Just shows they make them say things!

How can they choose "toady" as most fake? He's the most down to earth there! And isn't Gillian's voice so deep?

Indeedy liverbird, he`s not!

Toady seems like a good lad. They chose according to what BB wanted. That was pretty obvious. They think we`re daft

Gillian`s been on the Capstan full strength

Don't think he was being serious when he said that Scotty, thought it was a jokey response to the question he was asked, (can't remember what it was now, something like 'Are you v popular with the girls?')

Hope your and your sons nerves hold up and he isn't too much of a dipstick

I knew he was joking too Kaffy and Supes. Just worried that others wouldn`t. This is not gonna be easy. Hope he`s out on the first week so I can "enjoy" it Selfish or what?

Day 2: The Life of Speidi

They’re used to the glamourous hills of LA, yet here they are banged up in an Elstree basement with only the tales of Razor Ruddock for entertainment. Heidi and Spencer Pratt are not impressed. They will not be sending Big Brother producers a Christmas card this year.

Despite this lifestyle downgrade, Speidi have rallied their spirits enough to make comparisons between their lives home and away. Apparently, they‘re a pair of homebodies, so being confined to a small space is pretty much business as usual. They also opened up about the relief of leaving the reality show that made them, in the words of Spencer, “the most famous people in the world”.

Sam and Razor peppered the duo with questions with Sam getting carried away and comparing them to The Beatles. Did we miss the episode of The Hills where they recorded a slew of iconic hit singles? Is their transatlantic drawl merely a Liverpudlian accent in disguise? No one asked Sam whether he needed H.E.L.P. so maybe the answer to both questions is ‘yes’.

But bravado and bonkers comparisons aside it would seem like Big Brother’s first married couple are hankering for the style to which they have become accustomed.

“They’re really nice guys,” gushed Sam to Razor in a private moment.

“Yeah, it’s just they don’t want to be here,” replied the former footballer with a speed of wit befitting his nickname.

Poor old Speidi, stuck in the centre of the powerful one’s web.

It's the same actor, he's just lost loads of weight, Squiggle.

Thanks Yogi, it's very confusing when you are expecting someone to look one way and they look another.  I think he looked better before

Day 2: Speidi's task rebellion

Given a minute to decide which basement-dwelling housemate should be entrusted with the filthy task of unblocking pipes link to task brief), the housemates swiftly decided on the two-headed creature that is Speidi. Not to be mean, you understand, just because they have more hands. The thing is, Speidi's collective fuse was already running short (link to 'the life of speidi') and they went on task strike.  Truthfully, the prospect of the people upstairs – including those who sent them to the basement - enduring cold water rather appealed.

But they didn’t reckon on the game creature that is Ryan. He stepped up, to the disgruntlement of the glossy pair, and to the whoops of the housemates upstairs. They chanted his name and sung his praises as he made his way to the murk-filled pipes set up in the garden. Watching it all on a screen from the basement, Spencer reasoned,

"I guess they [BB] built this whole thing and they had to have a scene but I "hink it would have been funnier if they’d had cold water."

Heidi agreed. Judgment then punctured her husband's tone.

"That is one obnoxious crew. I don’t want to go near those people."

Upstairs the lack of fellow feeling was mutual.

"Nobody when asked to do a chore on Big Brother should turn it down whatever it is," said freshly promoted housemate, Paula. Murmurings of disbelief concerning Speidi’s rebellion was echoed among the housemates

The man no one had a problem with was Ryan. Even Heidi conceded, "he has like the greatest attitude ever." Check back soon to find out whether he passed the task....

Ryan gloves-up ready for the plunge

Yeah, that's dirty, smelly water gushing out....What a trooper.

The other housemates cheer on. They have hot water on their minds.

Speidi, however, are less than supportive...
