CELEBRITY Big Brother star Rylan Clark has been secretly leaving the house to attend rehearsals for the live X Factor tour.

And now viewers have turned against the favourite for “breaking the rules” of Big Brother.

 

Producers had managed to keep his regular stints out of the house a secret from the show’s millions of viewers.

 

But yesterday information about his absences for meetings with a singing coach leaked out.

 

Ex-housemate Gillian Taylforth, 57, appeared on Channel 5 chat show  The Wright Stuff and was asked if it was frustrating not knowing what time it was in the house.

 

She said: “Rylan went out to do rehearsals for the tour he’s doing for X Factor, and obviously he wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone, but when he came back he’d ask somebody the time very quickly, like the driver.

 

“And we said: ‘What’s the time? Quick put it on the oven!’”

 

Her comments sparked an immediate backlash from angry fans who vented the fury on the internet.

 

Ex-Big Brother contestant Narinder Kaur, 38, tweeted: “Bang out of order and against the no 1 rule of BB! Rylan NOT to win!! Get him out!”

 

Camp singer Rylan, 24, is set to perform on the opening night of the X Factor show in Manchester on Saturday, just 24 hours after the grand final of  Big Brother.

 

 

He has been allowed out at least twice during the past two weeks.

 

The decision had been kept from Big Brother fans as there is no longer a live feed for people to watch round-the-clock footage.

 

The news also raised questions as to whether Rylan could have received information about who the favourites on the show are.

 

Last night Channel 5 said Rylan had stayed within  Elstree Studios complex, had not seen anything about the show and had been chaperoned.

 

A spokesman said: “Rylan has been rehearsing for his tour on-site with a choreographer. He has been escort-ed there by a Big Brother producer.”

 

BOOKIES Ladbrokes lengthened favourite Rylan’s odds from 1-4 to 1-2 yesterday. Ex-Heartbeat actress Tricia Penrose, 42, is now second favourite to win, with her odds coming in to 5-2.

Oh and I also noticed on the official announcement that he was "not allowed to discuss events in the Big Brother House with anyone during such rehearsal periods"

So does that mean that anyone could talk to him, he could talk about other stuff on the outside world, look on twitter, read the papers and forums etc. etc. etc. Puts a different light on his comment about how many twitter followers, was it Lacey I think, had?

It does make you question why if BB had made an agreement with Rylan ,why did they not let us know.

Rylan was not in rehearsals by himself .

Didn't realise it was a secret that he was being coached for the tour , I read something about it in one of those crappy mags last week 

Like they said, he had a Producer with him at all times. He had 2 rehearsals of around 2 hours both times, I doubt he had time or opportunity to talk to others about BB lol

 Seriously it came as a shock to just about every forum I have been on .

Yup,it was in something like Now or Star or something - not watched the show really since the first couple of nights, so I assumed it was common knowledge he was rehearsing/ being coached . C5 are full of it !

Yes, I'd forgotten about that.I know I questioned it at the time and someone said he would have looked before hand.... which then made me question the bit about them acting like they don't know each other..

But is that cos it's Rylan YR? Can you honestly say you would have felt the same if it was Speidie?

Perhaps they didn't lol, perhaps her name came up like others did as possible hm's and if he'd not heard of her checked to see if she had a Twitter a/c. I doubt Rylan's interested in knowing Page 3 girls

I'm not fussed about him rehearsing per se tbh, more interested in why they tried to keep what was going on from the viewers

That's perfectly possible YR, we and they all knew who was going in ages beforehand, but tbh all other possibilities have to be on the table now too

What goes on contractually with BB and any other organisation isn't something that we can do anything about, whoever the hm is.

I tell you one thing for sure, I wouldn't want to be living in either of their heads, no wonder they sleep so much, their brains must need serious recovery time

True, but why try to hide it?

Then if contractually it had been agreed that Speidies should get the the so called * special treatment * people say they have been getting , that should be ok too then

Maybe they weren't hiding it as such, just that it never came out until Gillian left
