Sooz, my family are 'there' we just don't live in each others pockets although I know I'd feel the same if there was any falling out between us (I've actually experienced it as have a load of others I guess). There comes a point where you have to say enough is enough though

It's actually Mt Woo's sisters kids (I know it's awful but I don't consider them my family) they are a family of fantasists and liars and very jealous of us and our set up. I never fall out with anyone but years ago we had words over the kids as her kids used to steal all the time from mine - I let it go for years but finally blew. We didn't talk for years then they moved away. It's complicated.
I really can't believe that I have such a lovely husband as his Dad and Sister are just beyond horrible - TBH.

I know it will be hard Sooz, but you really need to find some excuses (me looking in from the outside if they're causing you that much grief) as to why they can't come in the future
