He lost both parents in January 2009. His mum was being treated for a heart bypass in hospital, when his dad was brought in after suffering a fatal heart attack, then his mum passed away 48 hours later. Must've been extremely traumatic for him.

Not with me. He's a constant. He doesn't take it deadly serious, says so and lives by it.
But Julie is lying to people in there, and it's easy for him not to take it seriously when he's not being lied to or bitched about.
I think he takes it for what it is, panto. The letter from his mother was telling. His feelings are with family and friends and a peaceful existence, not the self serving that most of the others are there for (not Lorenzo maybe). I really think he needs the money and it will raise his profile, so all good from where I'm standing.

did I just hear right - for medical reasons Julie is having her hair washed by a hairdresser in a different room???? What sort of medical condition precludes you from washing your bonce in the shower? 
It could be something like arthritis in the shoulders.
possibly and to be fair we don't see how quickly she moves first thing in the morning without live feed but it sounds like she's milking it as she doesn't look to have problems from what I've observed 
or maybe it's my dislike of her that's colouring my judgement

Yes Kaffs and I bet she'd still manage to smoke if her gob was on top of her head! She's got serious lazyitis, all she does is bloody sit and smoke while everyone looks after her, don't think she's even made a cuppa while she's been in there, never mind a meal, just sits around being waited on hand and foot. (I had an aunt just like that!)
