This doesn't make me embarrassed to be a Geordie (as I was born in Jesmond and I mostly wash my hands of most Geordie riff-raff anyway) cos I understand these tartlets are not typical of our usual Geordie tarts, who are of a higher class tart  - if you catch my drift  

And most of the Geordie girls I know have morals, behave well and are not in any way cheap tarts
