Their 'reward' for passing the task that set those in THE BOX free. They were 'chosen' for that task 'cos they were the top or bottom three in the most/least annoying line-up.

But he's so blatant and open - you can see where he's coming from. He's an arse, we know he's an arse and he doesn't (can't) hide it. Look at Maloney - doing a pr job like billy-o.
