Watching on Ploos Won

Hi Renton How is your mum doing today ?

Hello Baz - they're talking about discharging her as she no longer has a medical need to take up a bed.

To me she seems far too weak but she managed to climb 10stairs and walk the corridor. I'm still very worried about her confusion, although its not too bad at times - the nurses say as she's on a lot of meds including morphine I should not be too surprised to see her confused but she's nothing like her normal self.

We're having a hand rail fitted to the stairs, a physio assessment of the house and carers in to help her bathe for a couple of weeks.

I'm dreading it

When she is back at home her confusion may ease a bit Saint......xxx

Apparently she's coming home with the same painkillers (which another nurse said was not going to happen) and I'm to expect the confusion to continue - it's to help her get over her operation which was quite a big one. So not a permanent med.

But when I said this is nothing like my normal Mum the nurse seemed quite bemused

Awww sorry ...I missed these posts . I know it's scary , but once they wean her off her pain meds I am sure your mum will be more her old self Renton

Well this confusion started all of a sudden about 5/6days after her operation. I'm hoping its a build up of morphine cos some days she's better than others but still nothing like my old mum.

She's been slightly 'off' from day one  but from day one she's been on strong meds . . . so who's to know

Naturally I'm scared

Yes,I can well imagine ....that's totally normal .....but although it doesn't seem like it ....it really is quite early days Renton....it's a big op .....and morphine does make you confused .....Mr B is on a high dose of a morphine derivative , and has been for a long time ....and he gets a bit confused at times

How does Gemma ever get anything done in life??

All she ever does is generate and swirl in her own or other people's arguments.

Its a non-stop circle of turmoil - she revels in it

SERIOUSLY my old boss who  lost his job was EXACTLY the same a Gemma - he would relentlessly stir and stir then stand back and enjoy the mess he'd created

I reckon Daniella and Gemma are just jealous

Of what?

Of the fact that they've not pulled

Have you ever saw an adult cry?

Except in extreme circumstances? Like funerals etc ..

I haven't

But on this prog they rant/scream and cry every day

Its not normal

Yes, and it's nearly all  fake !!!
