Thank you for being so concerned

My mum has become really confused recently and repeating herself constantly.

She began to cry, saying she was scared - I proper broke down and wept.

Mentioned this to the nurses two nights running so they took her off Oxycontin cos a side effect is confusion.

She seems more alert tonight (still forgetful but not as bad) and not repeating as much. The effects may remain in her system for up to 5 days so its going to be monitored.

I'm going to be chatting to the doctors tomorrow

 

 

 

Sounds like a side effect of the meds, Sainty. Good job you picked up on it early on, and good that your mum has you to look out for her.
