Evening all.

What's up with Angie?

Not a clue - and I don't care that I don't know

How is your mum doing?

My mum has had her operation but they are concerned about her heart beating irregularly so she's staying in for about 2 weeks.

She looks washed out and tired but otherwise seems ok. She wants to go home but can't . . . meanwhile she's setting me tasks in household maintenance.

Take the skirting boards off - buy some new and find a plasterer

sounds positive sainty - glad she is ok

Me too

I can't believe Gemma has a clothing line - anyone know if it makes money?  Why would anybody want to look like her?

I read that as "clothes line", and I thought, I haven't seen any washing hanging about.

yes -so did I at first

It's one of those whirligigs that goes in the garden, or back yard in her case

I'm not the only one who thought clothes line for washing.

Sorry that my contribution is somewhat poor, I keep getting distracted looking at property!

Are you thinking of buying?

Yes, I will be a strong buyer come July, so starting looking now.

House for yourself or adding to your portfolio? I'm dead nosey.

It's complex, but both. I intend to move to my next property, do up the one I am in then let it. I then plan to look for a further property and 'hop' to that renting the last on in the process.  So yes, initially for me but to then add to my portfolio.

That sounds promising!     Make sure you do it right!   Hope she's home soon.

Thank you Kaffs And Rosgirl - I;ve been set the task of completing the DIY of the bathroom too, and buy a tumble drier, and roller blinds and new mirror and sell my bike and service the car and defrost the fridge freezer and if it doesn't work properly, buy a new one and sell my gravity inverter and look for a new car and adjustable double bed and I'm not joking . . . . other than that, nothing really

Good for her - that's doable in two weeks.   Keep you out of mischief.
