He has back up too - Nadia. Michelle looked out for him at first but that's gone.  Patsy likes him, I think?

The difference is, Hopkins has the gobby vocal back up and Perez has someone who's really worrying about her place in the public's perception.  Hopkins and Perez can commit TV suicide and they'd still rustle up some sort of career;  Nadia isn't so sure or confident on that point.

.. and not just her.   I see her as a bit of a vigilante - and I've got a soft spot for the odd vigilante....

I really disliked Hopkins before she went in the house, (and still do loathe some of her opinions.) Perez was bitching about her and trying to turn people against her from the outset e.g. telling everyone who would listen that she was 'the most hated woman in Britain.'  He set out to win the show and hooked up with Nadia, who was never going to give KH a chance.  Whilst he's been trying to wind Hopkins, ( and just about everyone else,) up from day one.....  with Katie H, and her acid tongue, he's more than met his match

.. and he's really not handling it well....     I love it.

If I can play Devil's advocate for a bit... Katie Hopkins' stupidly hateful comments are based on generalisations and are often too ridiculous to take seriously.   People seem to forget the Perez has earned his living by saying hateful things about real individuals..   When the series started he was demonised (rightly) for outing people etc.  People now have a new hate figure who, imo, is a pantomime baddy and he's suddenly not so bad?  Short memories...

Since his original game plan failed he's been playing the 'underdog' 'picked on' card for a little while now Kaffs : because he knows that's a vote winner

  The GBP are so easily manipulated.

I think it's more a case of people not wanting KH to win than falling for any  manipulation ....
