Day 21: Romeo's evicted!

Romeo is evicted!

The seventh housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2012 is Romeo Dunn. Romeo enjoyed a great time in the House, but the public’s love affair with the rap star was tragically cut short tonight, when they opted out of saving him from Friday's finale eviction.

Romeo entered the House to a symphony of wolf-whistles from his adoring female fan-base. The ladies’ man enjoyed similar popularity within the House, with his chilled-out nature instantly putting the other celebrities at ease. Romeo struck up friendships with Michael and Frankie in particular in his time, while his gentlemanly nature meant that he was always a hit with all the girls.

He showed his maturity in Frankie’s dating task, where he tamed the wild youngster’s hyperactive and laddish tendencies around the opposite sex. He frequently imparted his words of wisdom on many other housemates as they were going through hard times, and was someone that everyone felt they could talk to along with Gareth, who admired the suave guy's daily beauty regime and slick style.

Romeo’s stay in the House was a fairly quiet one, though, which may have been why it was cut short tonight. He was never one to get involved in too much of the House’s plentiful drama, preferring to try and pick up the pieces instead. This choice gained him friends within the House, but may have left the public with too many unanswered questions about the elusive Romeo.

Although the rapper will be disappointed to leave tonight, his female fan-base might be happy to know that he’s been released back into the public! Romeo’s had an experience that he won’t forget, and made some great friends along the way. Romeo Done!

Day 21: Roundup

Yesterday morning the housemates woke up with one thing on their minds...EVICTION! With the departure of more housemates impending, the paranoia had well and truly set in for most of the celebs. After Kirk and Natalie’s shock eviction just a few days earlier nobody felt safe (apart from the twins who were beaming with confidence). On the whole housemates were extremely confused as to public opinion, which has ultimately kept them on their toes. The chat soon turned to the night ahead and Nicola asked Denise if she wanted to leave. “The thought of waking up with Michael’s morning mood where I never know...” Denise replied. The Loose Women host also stressed to Nicola how much she was missing her home life whilst Nicola applied her make-up in the mirror.

The mood was soon lightened by Big Brother’s “Say it or spray it” task, where housemates competed in a challenge to win some luxury shopping items. On being called by Big Brother, Gareth and Nicola (being the most eager housemates) were first to the diary room. In doing this they had nominated themselves to take charge of the task! Gareth and Nicola were sent to the large task room where they were presented with a conveyer belt. The other housemates sat in the garden in front of some precariously placed spray guns. Various luxury items would pass by the conveyer belt which Gareth and Nicola would have to describe to the other housemates (without saying what they and not being allowed to use certain descriptibe words). If housemates couldn’t guess what the items were from the descriptions given by Gareth and Nicola then not only would they lose the items, but they would also be sprayed by the items in liquefied form.

First Gareth and Nicola had to describe coffee. Unfortunately Michael didn’t guess right and so was blasted with some cold coffee to the face. Spirits were lifted almost immediately when Romeo correctly guessed the chocolate item caused Gareth to do an excited air-punch and exclaim, "That's the kind of s**t I like!" The success was short lived thought as Kristina failed to guess the word 'peas' correctly, and so was sprayed with the green vegetables. The twins were not happy at the thought of ruining their "$2,000 hair extensions." Frankie also wasn’t too great at the task and so was constantly getting gunged! Overall the housemates managed to obtain beer, hotdogs and chocolate. It’s going to be an indulgent few days for the final five!

Eventually housemates attention turned straight back to the eviction. The evening was well and truly underway and it was time for Brian to announce that the 6th person to be evicted from celebrity Big Brother 2012 was...Nicola! Nicola left to a symphony of taunts and booing. The other housemates listened on, each one quite taken aback by the dismissive roar from the crowd. The tension had been lifted, but it wasn’t to last.

It was time for Brian to make his second announcement to the House. It was soon revealed that the 7th person to be evicted from the House wasRomeo. Housemates were well and truly shocked by this news. Romeo left the House to the warmest reception of the series so far. “that must feel so good,” Frankie told the House.

Talk of eviction soon stopped as it dawned on the remainig housemates they had all reached the final five and would see the final of Celebrity Big Brother 2012 on Friday!

Day 22: The final five

Last night provided yet another shock double eviction as Romeo and Nicola's Big Brother experiences were cut short. The double eviction prior to this clearly changed the dynamic within the House, and our housemates have been very quiet this morning. Has this new double departure rocked the House again?

The two celebrities that left last night were undoubtedly important characters. Although Nicola was the louder of the two, Romeo proved his importance in times of stress by acting as a mediator between housemates. Will we see cracks starting to appear without him?

The House seems a bit quieter without Nicola, and the twins may well be missing her throughout the day today and tomorrow. The House's mother figure is now gone: could we potentially see changes on the last night of our housemates' stay? Will there be drama, or will they get along better without last night's evictees? Keep checking back to find out.

Our housemates needn't worry about missing Romeo and Denise Nicola too much, though, as they'll all be seeing each other tomorrow. Who is your winner, though? We're very close to the end now, and it's still all up to you. You can vote here

Day 22: Introducing... Mankie!

This morning, something seems to be missing in the House for Denise. She's gone about her usual morning routine, having a chat with all of the other housemates. This time, though, she's had a conversation with Michael, which she regards as a bit odd. In fact, the usual 'morning Michael' seems a lot cheerier than usual to Denise. He's even started singing, and singing showtunes, no less - what's going on here, then?

Michael's usual rants about Denise have been non-existent today, and he's seemed happier on the whole. He's been growling away like usual, but his noises might not be aggressive ones today. Is Michael happy to make the final of the show, or is he just looking forward to leaving the House altogether?

It's hard to tell, all that we know is that we never expected to see a Cocozza-Madsen musical medley this morning. Mankie? Who knows, maybe the two have found a new double act for when they leave? We're not sure how Kirk would feel about that one…

Although Denise seems a little uneasy on the subject, she seems happy that he's been a little more attentive to her, and patient. Will things stay this way, though?

Day 22: Domesticated double

Twins oven story

After Nicola (the mother figure) was evicted from the House last night, the twins seem to have been making an effort to be more domesticated around the House today. The two are clearly learning a lot in the process, we're unsure what their exact cleaning role is in the Hugh Hefner mansion.

The twins have spent a lot of time scrubbing away at the kitchen, to clean up the House ready for tomorrow. They seem to be enjoying getting into a bit of dirt-busting work, and have proved that they're not afraid to put in a bit of elbow grease for the sake of the House.

There do appear to be a few small holes in their knowledge of the household, though. The twins seemed to take a little bit of time to identify the oven, with Karissa feeling the need to confirm that they'd found it: "this is the oven". After some discussion as to what strategy to take with the appliance ("what's that thing? Wanna press it?") the twins thought they'd finally got there. Unfortunately, though, they'd only succeeded in changing the time.

It was at this point that the twins felt the need to explain themselves to the cameras. "We've never used an English oven before, OK? We don't know how to do this stuff. It just has pictures, for 2 year olds" Karissa ranted. Eventually, though, the two got it working and were away. Soon enough, they were baking up a storm.

Our twins only have a day left, though: would they have become domestic goddesses were it not for Nicola's presence? We'll unfortunately never know. What we can confirm at this point is that they know how to use an oven.
