Day 21: It's a double eviction!

With a double eviction looming over our celebrities tonight, it's worth taking a look back at the past week to see what our housemates have been up to.  It's certainly been a turbulent one: has your opinion of any of our semi-finalists changed over the past week? Or have events only served to strengthen your support? Let's cast our minds back a bitâ€Ķ

This week has seen it's fair share of drama, glamour and funny moments. It's hard to know where to begin, but we'll start with the housemates' new found fame in Japan. Although Denise, Gareth and the twins know how gullible they were in falling for Big Brother's sneaky trick, they also passed the task, winning a karaoke party for themselves. They enjoyed it, although Frankie didn't quite as much!

After Day 18's spelling bee, we come to this week's major drama: Karissa's dispute with Denise. The dispute started with these two but later spread out to include most of the House. The twins and Nicola seemed to form one side of the argument, while some of the others sided with Denise. The argument had no winner as such, but it certainly revealed a few cracks in our celebrities' relationships with one another.

The housemates have since made up over this issue, but what they said won't be forgotten. In other new this week, Michael's been providing some entertaining monologues, the housemates have been showing off their poetic skills and the twins have been talking at length about their breasts. What more could you ask for?

What do you make of this week's events? You can have your say by voting. Tonight's double eviction will see our two least popular housemates evicted: remember, you're now voting for your winner!

It’s the final week! Remember that your facebook votes MUST be used prior to the end of the vote on Friday as they are non-refundable and non-transferable

0009: So how did housemates respond to tonight’s evictions? Clink on the link to find out

Day 21: Eviction aftermath

Today saw Nicola and Romeo become the 6th and 7thhousemates to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2012! But how did the other housemates respond?

Nicola was first out to face a chorus of boos but the housemates weren’t too shocked with Nicola’s departure.  Whilst in the House a few had had their ups and downs with Nicola, especially during ‘trouser-gate’. Regardless, Nicola was a popular amongst her fellow housemates and so housemates weren’t too delighted on hearing Nicola’s audience reception.

After Nicola’s departure relief swept over the House but it was only to last a little while. Eventually housemates again felt the pressure as Brian announced that there would be a second eviction. Housemates again gathered on the sofas and waited for Brian to reveal their fates. Romeo was announced the 7th person to be evicted from the House. The crowd showed Romeo a very different response to the one they gave Nicola. Romeo left to face the warmest reception of the series so far. “I’m so happy, that must have been such a good feeling!” Frankie told the House. “He’ll be flying now, he’ll be releasing 21 seconds,” Gareth added. All of the housemates were in agreement that everyone on the outside will love Romeo.

Frankie stirred some eviction paranoia up in the House saying “I do think there’s going to be another one.” In general the spirits in the House were high. As it dawned on the housemates that they had reached the final five there were smiles all round.

Day 21: Nicola is evicted!

Nicola is evicted!

The sixth housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2012 is Nicola Mclean. The iconic page-3 girl wasn’t shy in showing off her huge personality in the House from day one, but tonight the public ultimately decided to strip Nicola of her place within the House.

Nicola entered the House in the midst of some controversy surrounding her relations with both Natasha and Natalie, who she had argued with in the past. Her outspoken nature never subsided within the House, but the public saw a softer side to Nicola in her determination to put the past behind her with both girls: she ended up becoming friends with both of them by the end. As a mother of two, Nicola was always keen to look after her housemates, cooking and cleaning for them often.

Her motherly nature was also demonstrated in the letters from home task, in which she displayed that nothing could keep her from her family. The nature of the task meant that she would have to deprive others in order to get to them, but Nicola was frank and unashamed when she explained why she did this. However a few days later Denise admitted to Nicola that she was unhappy about the letter shredding and the two had a huge argument that resulted in tears and demands to leave the House. The drama didn’t last long as the two were friends again the next day despite the outrage from the public.

Her outspoken and wild nature predictably did land her in trouble on a few occasions, though. She felt hugely embarrassed after a drunken game of truth or dare in the hot-tub with rock-star Frankie and almost ended it abruptly when she considered leaving. The twins in particular didn’t approve of her behaviour on that night: she found it rather difficult to get along with these two, and also wasn’tGeorgia’s biggest fan.  However, afterGeorgia's departure despite previous judgements the twins and Nicola became bosom buddies, perhaps this was the reason for her Big Brother downfall. In particular, when Nicola took sides with the twins during the drama of Sunday night's argument.

Despite experiencing difficulties with some, Nicola was a well-loved housemate who took on a motherly role in her time within the House. Looking on the bright side, she’ll undoubtedly be seeing some of her new friends on the outside world, and we have a feeling that tonight Nicola won’t be too unhappy to return to her husband and kids! She’s enjoyed an unforgettable experience inside theUK’s most famous House over the last few weeks, and showed the public. Congratulations, Nicola!
