Day 19: Tell me why I don't like Mondays

Today housemates had a much-needed lie-in following the events of yesterday evening, and so far it really has been the quietest morning after the night before.

Michael awoke first and decided to move from his bed to the living room sofa to have a little snooze. Denise followed shortly after, at which point Michael silently got up and went back into the bedroom and got back into bed. Denise then walked out into the garden to sit by herself.

Nicola woke up to do the washing up, during which time Denise was called to the diary room. She walked into the House, and placed her mug on the counter without either of them swapping a glance or a word.

Michael and Gareth went for their daily gym session but this time it was in silence. It seemed everyone was finding it hard to communicate, and rather spent the morning reflecting on last night's events.

Frankie finally woke up and gave Denise a hug. The two went out to the garden to discuss last night, where Denise said she was regretful about the way things happened, and wished she hadn't bottled it all up. She said she was dreading the day ahead and was happy to try and salvage her relationship with Nicola because the circumstances of the argument were not ones that would occur in the outside world in a normal environment.

Soon after, Romeo entered the garden and his take on the situation was "it was deep".  He said at some point today he wanted to sit down with the twins and have a longer chat with them.

Denise, Nicola and Frankie have all been in to speak to Big Brother in the Diary room today. Twins discussed last night's events with Michael who narrated "It's not good".

Frankie summarised everyone's feelings saying "The morning we were all dreading".

Just a short while ago Denise and Nicola attempted to sit down and talk things through.  But will they manage to repair their friendship, and will the House continue to live in silence?

Keep checking the official Facebook and Twitter pages for updates on all of today's events.

Day 19: It's good to talk

Last night's events have been all that is on anyone's minds today, as tension rose all morning and silence dominated the air. However, as the day has developed the housemates have gradually been forming pockets of conversations and seemingly making efforts to clear the air with one anotherâ€Ķ

A short while ago Nicola and Denise sat down to have a talk on the living room sofas. They started to discuss some of the issues they had with one another with Nicola saying Denise had aired some the things she'd told Denise in confidence, and Denise saying she felt Nicola had handled the buzzer task (in which she had to decide who received letters from home and chose herself) in a selfish manner. The conversation ended abruptly as Nicola left the room to have a moment to herself in the bathroom.

An hour or so later, the two caught up again – this time in the garden. Denise apologised to Nicola for betraying her trust, but also explained that she felt Nicola had sided with the twins since Natalie's departure. Nicola claimed that she has always had Denise's back and that she felt really hurt by Denise's words, as well as Frankie's. The chat, though emotional, seemed to loosen the two of them up and they left the conversation on positive terms.

In other House ties, Romeo sat down to speak to the twins earlier this afternoon where he tried to put things into perspective for them. He said that these kinds of situations do arise when people are in an unnatural environment experiencing things they wouldn't in the outside world. The twins seemed to agree with his ethics but still didn't seem forgiving of Denise at that stage. They later discussed between the two of them that "an apology isn't enough".

Things seem to be loosening up in the House but not all ties are repaired. Whether or not the twins will forgive and forget is yet to be established. They've managed to convince themselves to ride it out, but will they carry on the drama of last night with them?

Unfortunately, in a case like this, a still photo concludes nothing,

Is she pulling them down?

Maybe she's just put her hand out to pull them up!

And how far down or up were they before she touched them?

WE know a bit more about the situation, but if you came across that picture knowing nothing about the events surrounding it, you couldn't really tell what she (or any of them for that matter) was doing,

She`s admitted to pulling her pj`s down when Karrisa was dancing on the couch. So unless there were two incidents the same, I can`t see that not being the still Fluffy.

Edit: On the video just before it happened, her pj bottoms were at just below waist length.

Day 19: Frankie scores!

We all know that Gareth is a rugby legend. He’s the first Welshman to win 100 international caps in rugby union; he is the 2nd highest Wales try scorer of all time and is listed 11th in the world on the international list of leading rugby union test try scorers. All of this though pales into significance in comparison to Frankie’s under 12’s football career.

Frankie Cocozza has been the subject of media attention for various reasons before entering the Big Brother House. Little did Big Brother know, Frankie was first famed (kind of) for being a football superstar. He kicked Gareth into touch telling him all about his junior football days, in which Frankie’s team “never lost”. “We used to win 12 to 1, week in week out!” Frankie told Gareth, who seemed reasonably impressed. He told Gareth how if he didn’t score in a game, he wouldn’t talk to anyone on the way home.  “I used to get all emotional,” Frankie exclaimed. He told Gareth a story about when he was 2 to 1 down and cried his eyes out as he managed to score 2 goals in the last minute. Gareth didn’t mention any of his own proud sporting moments, probably as they would all be over shadowed by Frankie’s achievements. Romeo asked Gareth if he ever celebrated scoring in a rugby game. Gareth told Romeo “Sometimes you can, but really you’ll look like a d**k.” Michael joked that football is for “show ponies.”

So it turns out despite an outstanding rugby career, the real sporting superstar in the House is Frankie...Who’d have thought it?

Task Alert - Read the details here, as Michael 'beatnik' Madsen leads his flock of lyricist through today's Task.

Day 19: Task - Michael's poetry slam

After last night's wrong trousers debacle (LINK), Big Brother has given the housemates a good old task to get the House working together. The housemates will be getting in touch with their feelings, dropping some solemn bombs and speaking from the heart, all to some smooth bohemian beats.

Big Brother has placed Michael as poetry mentor of today's Task, so he'll be chief-in-charge of all things beatnik. As such, Michael will be splitting the housemates into two groups of two and one group of three. Each of the groups will have to write a poem with each member contributing at least one verse. Michael in his beatnik guise will assist the housemates in penning down their inner most feelings.

The poems should be about the housemate's time in the House but if the housemates are struggling for inspiration, they can select another topic from a hat.

Later this evening Michael will be holding a ‘Poetry Slam’ in the living area with the housemates sat on bean bags. Housemate’s will read out their poems for Michael to critique. Michael will also read out a poem, Housemates will be provided with berets and cravats for the poetry slam as well as percussion instruments to add flavour to their poems.

If Big Brother deems the housemates poems worthy of true literary works of contemporary art, they'll be rewarded with a take away of their choice.

Will the housemates be on the beat for tonight's Task? Video's and articles to follow.
