Day 15: Round-up

After the drama of Wednesday night's eviction AND live nominations, yesterday was quite a reflective day in the Big Brother House. The knowledge that 8 out of the 9 remaining housemates will be up for eviction tonight clearly stunned some of the celebrities, giving them a lot to meditate on...

The morning started out with a macho workout for the boys, working off some of the stress from Wednesday night. The twins then discussed their potential fates for tonight: they seem confident of their chances, and feel safe within the House.

Frankie and Kirk's bromance continued when the two indulged in a spot of cleaning. They rewarded themselves for their endeavours with a wrestling match, which Kirk appeared to come out on top in:  no worries though, it ended all sweet between the two, as always.

The Michael and Denise saga continued, as Michael discussed his feelings on the matter with both Garethand Natalie. Gareth offered Michael advice (which was greatly appreciated) while Natalie wanted some explanation for the reasons that he gave when nominating Denise. The two still had their differences, but their encounters weren't quite as explosive as they had been in previous days...

Then the task came. It provided our celebrities with quite a serious dilemma: should they choose to hear from their own loved ones, or give others the chance to hear from home? Most of the housemates took their time to think about the choice, but it was only Nicola that decided our housemates' fate in only 2 seconds. Her brazen determination to speak to her loved ones gave her, Romeo, Kirk, Natalie and Michael the opportunity to hear from their loved ones. Unfortunately, though, it meant that Gareth, Frankie, Denise and the twins were denied this opportunity.

The emotions were running high as the messages were read out: there was barely a dry eye in the House. Those who heard from their families were obviously pleased, but the news from home did seem to dampen the mood slightly, and prompt the aforementioned deep thinking. Tonight will mark the end of one of their stays in the House, a thought which clearly didn't escape some of their thoughts...
