Yep.
Now the FA should follow suit.
They wanna get Gareth Southgate in there asap.
It's starting to appear all over the internet now; looks like it is true...
x 10!
Yup its breaking news in The Guardian
Maybe it's because of his views on the sacking of John Terry...............
It's just been on Talksport upstairs. He resigned from the FA.
Radio is screaming for Harry now and Mourinho (sp) to come back for Spurs
Must be maybe because of his views on the sacking of John Terry...............
They went over his head making the decision, and then they slagged him off publicly when he spoke out about it Sparkles. I don't really blame him

Apparently he was told about the decision. I don't know either way but Alan Brazil's show this morning said they'd had an e-mail from the FA
Suicidal job... may be good money, but you get grief every day. The fans and media should lower their expectations, we simply don't have good enough players. David Silva is one of the best players in the league... but he can still only make Spains bench.
Not a patch on Holland, Germany, Spain etc.
As for "Redknapp for England"... what on earth has this twonk ever won? Media are right up his arse.

It's because he's English Mincey. There was also a shout for Hoddle again this morning. He's older and wiser now
C'mon Meaty...he's been a shocker no matter the expectation surely?
The FA are a bunch of *word censored*. The only one who knows anything about football there is Trevor Brooking. The rest of them are a bunch of functionaries with the right connections by and large. What most of them know about football could fit on a matchbox.
As for Capello: Don't like him, never liked him but actually think he has a point here. For decisions to be taken (regardless of the reason) without even consulting the manager, let alone giving his views serious weight is unacceptable and put him in an impossible situation.
As for Redknapp: I (minor) trophy in how many years of managing? Nevermind the Del Boy ness of him.
I'd have Pardew or Hodgson.

No different to any other manager though... he didn't win anything, just like the rest. It doesn't matter which manager comes in, it's not like club football where we can just go out and buy any player. We're stuck with what we've got.
Not sure what the FAs expectations are... it's baffling, if you say "Get us to the semi-finals" we still ain't won anything

Can't have him
He's been doing such a good job with the mess at your place, Pam, that I think he must be a serious contender.
And I bet his dog doesn't have a bank account!

PMSL!
You're right, he seems to have got some stability there now. Maybe it was right getting rid of Barton and co. This new kid Cisse looks handy too
Listening to the radio on my pooter. Capello apparently been to Italian papers and said the FA insulted me
Let's hope it's true.
And they didn't spare the horses.
Let's get this right.
Capello was an impostor.
If he knocked on my door at Hallow'een he'd still be wearing the axe.
Total dick, employed by total dick employers.
He was a good manager, but the England job lays them all low. I agree about the employers though.
Run Harry run!!!
It does seem to be a poison chalice like the Toon job was at one time.
Just read this on the Guardian liveblog:
"Capello's not the first Italian to desert a sinking ship, is he?"
Sorry sorry sorry!
Is it just me that thinks it's funny that he resigned (allegedly) in support of the Terry/racist issue..... and most English footballers are now tweeting 'we need an ENGLISH man in the job now'
I have to say I was absolutely gobsmacked when I turned on the news last night to find that, out of all that is going on in the world today and in particular Syria, the top news item was about a footy manager resigning and the second one was about one being found not guilty of tax evasion.. .Syria came in third in the 'importance' stakes. . . .
didn't they used to put sports stuff at the end of the news? cos it's not exactly earth shattering or world events changing stuff is it? ...
Who's us?
tbh on a slow news day I can understand it being the top story but there's a lot going on out there atm that indirectly may affect us a damn sight more than a team with no leadership for a short while . .who knows it may even improve on its own without a leader. .nowt else has worked for it for a good while so worth trying something else ..
