Sick of Christmas already, bloody pub full of trees, lights and decs, it was a funeral going on for hells sake. Pubs and other public places should have more thought than putting up the fripperies. Not everybody wants them, I certainly don't

I'd like to postpone t,even for a few months,obviously that's impossible so for the sake of my grandsons I'll have to put a brave face on and deal with it.

cancelled for me as well... just found out my dads brain tumour is back,, going into hospital asap...

Got too much to do and not enough time, and havn't got the energy or inclination.

I can't even bring myself to wrap presents, i dont know what the hell is wrong with me but i wish id snap out of it.
I would be fine if they cancelled it tbh.

Its not going to be a happy one for my family either. In fact I don't think it will be for quite a few years.

I'm in Xmas mode for the sake of the kids. I'm making it extra special for them this year. They deserve it after all they've had to deal with. Plus I think my dad would be really disappointed if he thought we weren't enjoying it because he's not there. Brave face on.....decorations going up

Sorry can't quote but I know what you mean Cags,,my dad would want us to enjoy Christmas as always,he loved Christmas himself.It's hard though when between doing decs etc I'm running about getting a headstone for him,I guess that's his present for this year.For everyone.
