place. the rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem.
this is because the human mind does not read every letter
by itself, but the
word as a whole. amazing huh? yeah and i always
thought spelling was important.

Spelling is important. If you didn't have all the correct letters (in whatever order) between the first and last letters and all the words in the correct order and the sentences correctly punctuated, then that would be rendered virtually unreadable.
E.G.
bsermhotoe

bhywdvsmue

Can you read those two words?

They both start with 'b' and end in 'e'

What the above demonstrates is not that spelling and grammar are irrelevant, but that we see words as 'pictures'.
