Driving home today a van in front me had newspapers flying out of van onto the dual carriage-way, a couple of which hit my windscreen. I drove alongside him to let him know that there was newspaper flying out of his van - TRYING to be helpful and prevent a possible accident and after attempting (unsuccessfully) to put a leaflet through my window, he drives up alongside me and attempts to throw a bottle at me through my open window Eeker I wound it up leaving a small gap, he comes up alongside a puts a leaflet (advertising his services) through my window Confused

I was quite shaken by this whole thing and actually can't believe how upset I am about it (not crying or anything). I didn't have a great day anyway and that just topped it off. I'm never going to do anything like that again even if there is the potential for an accident. So be it!

Can you bloody believe that!! Eeker

if his phone number is on the flyer, I'd report him to the police tbh. You were doing the right thing, warning of a possible accident. He sounds like a complete twonk! And apart from anything else, should be fined for littering!

I took down his vehicle registration and informed the police when I got in. I was nervous about calling the numbers on the flyer as there were two numbers, both of which were mobiles so he could well have answered himself. No way I'm speaking to him Shake Head

I have friend who works in a call centre, when people phone her and they are abusive, she saves the numbers and the next time she's rolling home from a nightclub at 4 am she decides to give them a call, with holding her number of course. Ninja

I'd do the same. The newspaper flying everywhere could have caused a serious accident .....let alone the threatening behaviour afterwards. I'd deffo report it.

Well I did, but the police more or less said that nothing is going to happen apart from them advising him not to do it again Roll Eyes

I'm on a diet for the week too Glance Schloer is FAR too sugary! And doesn't have quite the same qualities as wine Big Grin
