Don't know why Noirin is all excited to be with her Ex boyfriend again. What ever the reason for separating will surface again down the line. I've never heard of ex partners getting back into a successful, lasting relationship.

My philosophy is.. an ex is an ex for a reason.
That said, I do know a couple of couples who split up, had time apart and then got back together and have lived happily ever after.

I suspect this is less about re-kindling any romance but all about whipping up a story and mag deals...for both of them....this she must feel will take her further with that aim than any alliance with any of the existing male housemates could.

I think it would depend on why the relationship ended in the first place. My husband is an ex, who I got back together with after 4 years apart, works ok for us.

Who knows which ex this is. According to her mother, she would walk out if he went in, which does not sound like the break up was all shiny and light. This Ex might be number 3 in the ex league.

Someone very very close to me got back with her ex n they have been married now with 2 kids n very happy so it do work sometimes

i met my fella wen i was 15, but we broke up after a year
we met up 3 yrs later we got back together - we've been married for 20 yrs now an got 3 grown up kids
sometimes it can work out with an ex
i split with my ex for a year, we got back together, talked over what went wrong, married after a year of going out again, and we celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary the 2nd july. so yes it can work out with an ex.
