It's video game related... sorry
Anywho, I occasionally volunteer as a writer for an independent video game website. It's a bit of a hobby, and it's a little nerdy, but hey ho, it beats being a trainspotter.
Anywho-who. I wrote an article asking our readers to vote in an election (I'm so meta) over which new game character they would like to see playable in an upcoming game.
Long story short: Game developer made a game. It's very popular. Now they're asking people to vote for a new character that will appear later in the year.
Myself and the other websites volunteer's are all pushing for our readers to vote for a character we're backing and representing. Yes, I get it. Nerdy. But again, still not spotting trains.
HOWEVER!! Everyone made fun of my choice and said he wouldn't win. Normally I wouldn't care, but I really like making people eat humble pie and if you could all pop over to the site, vote for my character choice, and leave, that would be fab.

If you scroll down to the POLL and place your vote for "Ricky Winterborn" it would be lovely. No need to read the article whatsoever... nor do you need to leave a comment because I wouldn't want to be accused of "fixing"... which I am doing, but y'know... they were mean to me... and humble pie.
If you do decide to read the entire article, please note I only wrote the manifesto of my choice. You can probably tell by my sassiness.
Thanks.
Remember. Humbliest of pies.
