Just had a thought....maybe I should just change walkie time to after dark. Slightly inconvenient but would certainly solve the problem

Aww poor Poppy, looking forward to walls but can't enjoy them.

I would read reviews on the shades as ppl who have bought them will know if they work or not... Personally I can't see a dog liking them tbh maybe shady walks through woods etc might help her.. Don't know if you have anywhere like that nearby xx

Ducky, I've never seen any dogs wearing sunglasses, but if Keira really needed them, I'd probably get her some - not sure she'd keep them on though.

However, Mr Yogi would only walk her when it was dark!

Ducky, switching your walks at least temporarily would at least tell you if it was the light that was bothering her. Then, if she seems better, you can get the sunglasses. And then post a picture. 

Have you tried Can C eye drops? or Bright Eyes? - apparently they work to improve vision de generation and has been quite successful.

 

I took her for a walk last night just before bed and she was like a little spring lamb! So there are a pair of doggy sunglasses winging their way to me as we speak.  

 

She might not take to them... but the photos will be SPECTACULAR!

We do have a perfect shady wood a few minutes drive away, so that's definitely an option.  

 

Her favourite place to go is a total sun trap though, so I'm really hoping she will be cooperative with the glasses. I may have to train her to love them.... *stocks up on treats* 

I had to google what a Halti was I shall stick with it, Velvet.
