Yes I use paper ones.  Funnily enough I've just ordered next years - it's a Dame Minkie Moo one who is a doggy friend of Milo's on FB - she's a terrier that's 16 years old  she has her own appreciation fan club and you can buy calendars, mugs, pens and key rings.  One of her  owner's friends is an artist so paints the pictures and gets the stuff made.

For me it makes it more personal

We have to have one of the slim ones on the wall for general family use..   though what pics are on it doesn't really matter this years one was a cairn terrier one...

not sure what one to get for next year...

we then have the eye candy one...    for 5 consecutive years it was a Kylie one (for MrD)..    then last year it was  jason statham one (MrD didn't like it *shrugs*)

couldn't be arsed with the eye candy one this year...   the cairns on the everyday one was enough for me

I dont thinkl I could ever give my paper calender up  just a simple slimline one with whatever theme I fancy - dogs-cats-flowers-recipes - think I have had most of them

important phone numbers go on back cardboard page and important mustn't forget appointments etc go on the calender - everyone knows where it is and no fumbling looking for phone numbers etc on lappy or mobile if needed in a hurry

We all have calendars of celebrities that we like in our rooms, and a cat calendar in the hall... Also a day to a page one (with a different cat a day,) by the phone.  Also we have a 'year to a view' one in the kitchen from the local Chinese takeaway.

For reminders and appointments and stuff, I have a diary.  (An A5 week to a view one.)  I have 2 kids and a hubby and rarely a week goes by, without something going on....my hubby does different shifts from week to week too, and I work part time, and I meet up with my three best friends every few weeks - and my kids always have appointments and stuff at school and college and things going on; so I wouldn't be without that diary!

It's handier than a wall calendar because I can take it with me wherever I go.  My hubby and kids don't need one really, as I organise EVERYthing and remind everyone about everything too!  A mum's work is NEVER done!  My hubby AND kids have told me a few times that if I went away for a few weeks (like into hospital or something,) that they would be lost!

Ditto the above except mine sits by the docking station in the kitchen.

I wouldn't mind but I seem to have everyone else's events & appointments recorded in it too.  Stupidly, they think I'm going to organise them and be responsible for timely reminders...

As a rule i dont use a calender, paper or electronic. I try to use a diary but I usually just go round being late, forgetting and missing stuff.

However this year, we have a bengal wall calendar coming our way. All three of our babies made the Bengal cat forums annual Christmas calender, and lil Atlas the star, got the main picture as mr February ahhh im so proud
