What a swizz !!!  

 I'm not happy!

I don't usually eat chocci much but a tiny bit in moderation as they say - ate a creme egg the other day and first thing I said was I didn't like the taste - thought it was my changing taste buds, seems it's because of a change of recipe.

 

Kraft will rue the day they did it - they have consistently tried to make Cadbury products taste like Milka who they also own.

Said egg has gone down in mine estimation over the years

 

Poor quality throughout - very sugary - one avoids these days

First Timothy Spall is overlooked for a BAFTA award and now this!   Questions should be asked in the House! (Commons, not BB)

 

 

To top it all, they were in the shops only a few days after Christmas.

 

Now I know I complain about Christmas, but having eggs in the shops so quick after Christmas just underlines how the retail industry are only interested in flogging items to the general public and that Christmas and Easter are only opportunities, nothing more, nothing less.

 

Also, I've noticed loads of Valentine's stuff appearing everywhere, another forced event!

 

As I say every year... Do nice things for your partner and tell them how much you loved them on every day except Valentines day.

 

Hit the shops in the pockets by not buying cards, chocolates and overpriced flowers.

I don't know whether to be outraged that they won't taste the same, or be grateful that the change may actually cure my habit

It's still shocking though, they should have dairy milk!!!!!!!!!

But if you buy a Cadbury's product you expect their chocolate!  

So much for Kraft and  the gov. proclaiming no  Cadbury sites would be closed or recipes messed with because of the take over.

It's a disgrace, wonder if Kraft pay proper taxes?

They messed with the recipe as soon as they took over! Dairy milk hasn't been the same for ages (i.e. not as good)

 

Exactly, how is it even still a Cadbury creme egg if it's not sodding cadbury chocolate on it

I can't remember the last time I ate a creme egg ... won't bother now

I never liked creme eggs anyway,so I ain't fussed.I actually prefer the bars of chocolate with hazelnuts I  get in Lidl,they have milk and plain ones large bars with loads of  nuts in them.A lot cheaper than cadbury too.

I was tempted to buy one today and then remembered this thread. I decided against it 

I had one... it was delicious.   In fact, it was better than I remembered, but that's maybe the difference a year makes!

Have you got me wanting to try one again. Decisions, decisions Kaffs   

Go on.. push the boat out.    I think it's the difference between 'Dairy Milk' and the stuff they'll make Roses with etc.

Luckily I bought a back up - I'll check the best before on that one before I scoff it tonight and report back!

I think they're fine... but then again, Roses are my favourite chocolates.   I didn't realise that not all Cadbury's products were Dairy Milk chocolate anyway.

 

 

I noticed today that they are still doing the 12 pack.

It wasn't too bad actually. I was expecting a big change but I couldn't see much 

me either.  I bought the five pack yesterday.........    

So they're covered in the same chocolate as their Roses ones?

If so, then that's alright by me  

I didn't like roses this year

I'm torn between trying the creme egg and boycotting them!

I still suspect its all a great big publicity stunt and they'll change it back, then watch sales soar

I didn't realise till I read an article that said creme eggs were now made with the same Cadbury's chocolate they use in their other products - so I guess that if it doesn't say 'Dairy Milk'... it's not Dairy Milk....   Gwan.. have a Creme Egg.   

Sweet - I'm sure their sales have soared already... I bought two and then a five pack  - that's probably four more than I'd normally buy in a year.... 

 

I've decided to try one when they get cheaper after Easter.

 

Yes, I'm a cheapskate.

 

When is Easter - I can't wait much longer. 

 

 

Easter Sunday is the 5th April

 

Judging by the supermarket shelves you'd think it was this weekend
