C4BBGF Memory Box

I don't know if you all know that there's a website to help fms who might not have known the forum was closing to find their way to GaGa and also to be a sort of memory box to remember the old forum.

Although we have a brave new world here, there's a lot of history in C4BBGF - it would be nice to preserve some of it. I'm sure it would make interesting reading for any new FMs to see what they're getting into

Several FMs have contributed by either writing articles or notes and Baby Bunny has created an archive of some of the CRAP and BPF threads from OT, and there's a couple of Suzi-Q's works on there.

It would be lovely if more FMs added something, and we got a good picture of the many facets of the C4BBGF community. If anyone would like to add anything ....short, long, funny, sad, with pictures anything at all - just PM it to me and I'll put it on the site.

to help with inspiration - some potential subjects:

FAKERs, or other fan groups
waiting for babies to be born
MOD Towers
smut
the LUT
Legendery threads - like Lea being booed on the way in
The Washing Machine
Forum flirting
people who've met on C4 and become friends or lovers

cliques
FMs you miss
Eviction Nights
drunken posting etc etc etc

Thunder in My Pants being the obvious one but it was just hysterical. It was a bit of a
"song off". How many song titles relating to underpants and backsides can you come up with. Some extremely creative ones. Can't remember who else was in it but I do remember it was a sunny day and I was in my front room laughing my head off.

i remember when baby finn was just a minor bump and mr temps didnt know, i think we knew within minutes of temps reading that little strip thing.

oh and the classic smut of the "cooking thread" from spit roasts to portugese breakfasts it covered a whole lot of smut before a mod realised what we were realy discussing and killed it

Although I always had a passing admiration for the Love God, my passions were truly inflamed by the sight of him adorned just in his voluminous slightly off white underpants on CBB. I think that there are a number of laydees on this forum who share my feelings of lust - although they try hard to deny the depth of their passions it is clear that they only do this to cover up their true feelings. However, Hootie McBoob has been brave enough to admit that she adores the Y fronted one, and has similar fantasies to me, involving whipped cream, deerstalkers, and a little bit of Seville marmalade

lol, I'll have a go at a piece, I'm not sure how well known it was, but I was in hysterics..it was in the LUT..

Our saintly LUTters were, well, LUTting, and Samanda was reading out the shopping list..Samanda asked what "chicken holes" were, this caused all kinds of confusion amongst the LUTters, each asking the other what Samanda was on about; "what the heck is a chicken hole?" they asked..this went on for some minutes until one of the exasperated house mates grabbed the shopping list and explained it was a complete chicken. The shopping list actually said: Chicken (whole). From a lurkers perspective i'm not sure what was the funniest aspect to this episode, Samanda's complete numptyness or the LUTters consternation over what a chicken hole was

or did you have to be there ?

Hi Hoochie, marvelous job I’ve just got to page 5 of the BPF Chronicles, I’m going to have to put it aside for now as it was stopping me from working. I plan to read the entire thread tonight when Gaga shuts down for maintenance.

Does anyone remember a thread which became hysterical, so naturally the mods pulled it. It was about the disadvantages of men eating asparagus, but should eat more pineapples, If you check my sig you’ll see that it didn’t actually apply to me.

I would like to say thank you for the posts during the time when my brother was on the rig and I didn't know whether he was in that helicopter or not that crashed. I had to wait for a couple of hours before I found anything out and I was going out of my mind. There was a thread on the forum about prayers for those at sea and it really, really helped me. Up until that point I always thought that it was silly to be on a forum when you are having a crisis but the FMs really helped me, offered genuine support and love, kept me going until I got word from my brother that he was ok.

I read that thread over and over while waiting and for hours after when the shock was still resonating through me.

Lindsxdx - thank you for sharing. I have often seen the comfort that FMs can give one another in times of worry or sorrow - one of the things that made C4 very special.
