Can I say carp?
I dunno. At a guess I'd say yes.
Honestly, what is the point? Another attempt by C4 to court controversy for one of their rubbish shows.
I imagine those who've never experienced someone ramped to the gunnels on E might tune in to see what somebody on it might look like.
Think it has potential to be very amusing if nothing else.
So will this all be recorded in the Ch4 green room?
Been there, done that. Just not on live TV (to my knowledge )
Many TV channels these days disguise titillation in the name of education.
It fools no-0ne. Channel 4 are the worst offenders.

The BBC Thursday 12th May ,are to air the death of an 84year old .
Speaking on Sky tonight they ask "Is this a step to far". I think YES it is!
TBF if he's dead he's probably not stepping very far at all.
BBC3's "How do drugs work" filmed people on E's and weed etc, So where's the originality there? Oh, c4 are going to film someone swallowing a pill or supping a pint, well that's exciting!

I'm going to suspend judgement until I've watched the programme. One of the places I work is a bereavement counselling service, and tbh if this programme helps to alleviate the taboo we have in this society of discussing death, then I think it could be a good thing.
****ing hell, whats next self harming live? As in my mind it equates to the same thing, Would you tune in and be amused at someone slashing their wrists or taking an overdose live?
At the end of the day (to coin a bb phrase lol) People hooked on drugs will do pretty much anything for a few quid, what about their parents? compelled to watch as its their child (who they may have not have seen for a while etc) that will hut them so much.
nope not for me
I'm guessing the volunteers won't be junkies on skid row.

If I volunteer, will they pay for the drugs?
If you volunteer, I'll pay for the dunt!

The "hit" obtained from the ingestion of a drug.
"I downed a bottle of tonic wine on top of a half-glass of Calpol for a cheap dunt."
Ah, thanks!

I don't think I could watch some one being drugged...it's a bit sick isn't it...not some one being drugged, but being drugged for 'research' purposes. Couldn't they explain with graphs and diagrams? I'm sure Brian Cox could paint an accurate picture
