ooooh... how long ago?

12-13 years ago?

I picked Alfie's name when I was about 6 months pregnant.. about an hour after I'd had him Pondlife went on a mission to try to get me to agree to calling him Rio!!!!

The most worrying thing about it is when I tell Alf about it he say's he'd quite like to be called Rio!

He's still playing now in Scotland (but he's a Jody) he was at Chelsea 1995 to 2000 and fatured heavily in a documentary about trainees at Chelsea about that time so maybe thats where they got it from. H also had a stint at Millwall

I picked Alfies name about three years before i got pregnant...and we weren';t even planning another it was just a case of 'if we ever did it would be an Alfie or Millie

One of my son's friends in his new school is called Jodie. He's been there nearly a year and I still think he is talking about a girl when he mentions Jodie! I have never heard that used as a boys name before!

My friend called her daughter Jodie which I found weird as my husbands old boss's name is Jodie, I'd never known it for a girl....

Initially they were spelling it Conchubar Piaras (Conor Pearse) but his mum wanted it spelt like his namesake her brother so Conor it is.
