Christ of almighty its 7 letters long. Stop exaggerating it. It reminds me of X-Factor all over again when people were making fun of Eoghan's name.

These are really common and popular names in Ireland, so stop making fun of the spelling. Very few Irish names are spelt how they sound so get over it.

Incidentally Niamh....my friend/colleague Niamh has been called Nayeema by the security guard in our office building who looks at our passes for the last 3 years. She smiles sweetly and graciously back at him and says good morning. Now, for all we know he's taking the piss out of her...but does she care...does she has heck as like, I guess she has bigger concerns in this life

I wouldn't take it too personally, Riverrock. Housemates' names have been deliberately mis-spelled on purpose throughout many series. A few that come to mine, Dimogen (Imogen BB7), Ashleen (Aislyene BB7), Dull (Dale BB9). I'm sure there are many others.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but the HM name that's really going to bug me this series is Govan. It's going to be virtually impossible for me to see it written-down and not think of it being pronounced with a hard "G"...
