Yup, I had to queue pirate. Mind you, it was 6pm, so home-from-work time.

There was also a queue at the fish and chip shop afterwards

Hubby had voted earlier, so while I voted he went to the chip shop (it's just across the street from the polling place). Even though I was third in the queue and he left as I walked over to the queue, I was at the car before him.

I hadn't given much thought to it, but now you mention it, I don't remember having to queue to vote before.

Two people in my polling station with one leaving as I arrived. 

I was in and out in a couple of mins.

Took me longer to read all the candidates and sing "eenie, meanie, miny, mo" in my head!

I did a postal vote but have been out and about in our village 4 or 5 times today.  We have 2 polling stations at either end of the village neither of which were particularly busy.  

Chip shop queue non existent.

Was banged out in the local Chinese though (the meat dumplings were lovely)

I do a postal vote but might come off it the next one. I sent my vote in on Monday but wanted to change it (local election) by Wednesday 

Nah I went for the party that had most chance of knocking the party i most hate out.... No option for anyone i actually wanted
