Who put you there?  tries not to laugh as i really feel your pain, as the same happened to me once.

You need doc or something to ease it. Massage? I wonder if it is a trapped nerve, when i trapped  a nerve in my neck i had to take codeine and something else combined that had me on the ceiling for 2 weeks

I bet you can't even climb into the bath

Can you post a link to some good back exercises .......................I've been OK for a few weeks but when it kicks in back pain is a nightmare. I'd like to know what's good prevention

I would have to describe 'em soozy. Originally a print out off the net lost long ago. I lie on my back, draw my feet towards me, as near as i can to my bottom, soles to the ground, knees together pointing up. Then touch or try to touch the ground in turn with your knees together either side of your body. I do that 200 times. I lie on my back, legs straight together, then in turn stretch each leg keeping it straight, together with the other one, so the foot is moving away, it's best if your feet are say six inches from a wall and you are trying to touch it in turn with the sole of each foot. I'm hopeless at describing!! This is for my lower back pain.

I think I get the picture - I may give it a go as I suffer with lower back problems too.

Actually (although you describe it well) I may have got it completely wrong . I hope you're well insured - there could be a lawsuit if I end up in traction!
