I can report that I can access my Virginmedia webmail while I is mobile.

It's telling me the website is out of action and they are dealing with it  

First estimate by Virgin Media of when email would be restored was 16.15. Then they revised it to 18.10. Now it's estimated at 22.00.

In other words, they haven't got a clue what's going on and have no idea when or if their email service will return.

Yep, you usual get that when their broadband goes down, then all of a sudden it's there

The Virgin Media email service was restored by 22.00 yesterday.
